is it farz to learn arabic????? because i really want to but i got to take out time for it.

arabic is a very beneficial language to learn..i recomend every practising bro or sister to learn it insha'allah!!

it's not fardh...but it's mustahab (desired/recomended becuase the Quraan is in arabic...:)

:sl:

It isn't fardh, but holds a very great importance in Islam, as it enables understanding of the Quran, refer to Surah Yusuf 12, verse 2. Also refer to Surah al-Hashr 59, verse 21. True understanding of the Quran is in its own language (arabic) and expression (tajweed).

There are two main levels of understanding; one is knowledgewise, the other is its hikma, refer to Surah Aal-Imran 3, verse 164 and Surah al-Jumu'ah 62, verse 2 for details.

The numbers represent some of the letters.

3 = ayn ع
2 = hamza ء
7 = haa ح
9 = saad ص
5 = kha خ

and........Hard? easy?

I might be moved to the highest level this year so....:X I thought I was gonna do foundation paper in year 7...But Alhamdulillah...I've worked well to get myself to the top of the class....I got 93% in my arabic exam this year :)

Masha'Allah that's good.

Erm, for me, alhamdulillah it was easy peasy! In my class, it was only me who found Arabic easy alhamdulillah whereas there were some other students who found it haaaard!

yeah, same with me, this year alone all we have been doing is fa'il (past tense).....The whole class have just abouts got the hang of it.....

I've done the present tense (finally, been able to do that after a long time lingering in the shadows).....So what's more to cover this year (intermediate)
