Is coloring ur hair Halal or Haram? If haram could u please give me some daliil(proof) from the Quran or hadith
Hope u answer real soon:) Thanks.

i dnt no any hadith or ayah but i think theres a conspiracy about some types of permanet hair dye which do not allow water to run through or something...there is some chemical which doesnt allow this and hence ones abolution is not accepted in the eyes of Allah. i do not no what that chemical is but i doubt ur gna find an ayah or hadith on it...:)

Is that chemical in all kinds of hair color or is it just in some of them??:? :?

use natural hair dyes, henna or others which dont damage the hair and dont clog it where u cant clean it, plus chemical hair dyes cause hair loss after a while, i used a blonding henna, doesnt work as good as bleaching but lightens it enough and naturally, you would think its my own, now hennas are semi permanent so if u dont like it dont worry it last about 6-8 weeks and even imporves hair shine which is the opposite then of the chemical types

Could u please tell me the names of those Hennas...I only use "Rani" which doesn't really work that well......thanks

those chems are only in some of the permanent hair dyes...my friend was telling me that its in Swarskoff or wateva..hehe:giggling: (mind the spelling)...it depends on the brand...maybe call up the islamic hotline in ur area,,,dnt no where u are or call up the company of the hair dye...ask em if there is any chems in there that do not allow water to penetrate the hair strands...:)

We're allowed to colour our hair in any colour except black the prophet said"ijatnibu assawaad" abstain/keep away from the black (dye).
Henna was used in the time of the prophet alayhi salaatu wassalaam, and it doesn't damage the hair.
I haven't heard of blonding henna either, amazing!

i heard that hadith before too, but does anyone know the exact reason why we're not allowed black? is it because it's deceptive..?

I use herbal essense number 56. its ammonia free. and yes its fine to dye the hair.

What if you had to dye hair due to genetic issue. My brother is producing white hair on his head, the family doctor said, it is a gene issue, so dying hair is sin for that reason? Though my brother doesn't dye hair but just curious to know.

:w:

You can dye hair akhee its just the black you have to avoid alhamdulillah our deen isn't extreme, there are other colours there inshaAllah...and also henna...

One time when it's permissable is during Jihad to make the enemy think your younger so that they don't think oh old man I'd take him easily.
