although pictures are amazingly clear and all else, dont you think that even the pictures still cannot capture the real beauty and Magnificence of the Haramain...when you go there its just,simply... out of this world.

So long as its in your heart and in your memories.

Well not soon but nxt June/July inshallah and this tym im gonan make sure I take a camera. I thought that you cant take cameras into the haram's:)
 
people charge their phones up in the haram, the arabs are very big on their Nokia's! lol.

personally I think its not right to take pictures especially of oneself, I remember on my visit to Jabal E noor, there were people taking photo's of each other, and video recording themselves, as though they are holiday makers! what were they going to do..? go home and stick them in their photo albums?? its not a holiday, if you go on holiday take pictures then fair enough...

but going for umrah and hajj is something we do for ourselves and for Allah(swt) this journey is a spiritual journey.
 
JazakAllah khair for this thread. I have never been to Makkah (inshaAllah soon!), and seeing pictures satiates me until I actually get the chance to be there myself.
