^ Thats different! We expected Sheikh Taalib not to lead. We braced ourselves for that, even though its not fair. They could have easily snuck Sheikh Taalib in for Tahajjud, considering they have three imaams doing it in Masjid al Nabawi.

Sheikh Shuraim not being given a chance for the dua is very weird.

Let's hope next year Sheikh Shuraim will do du3a and Sheikh Talib will lead taraaweeh or tahajjud, insha'allah :)

...but it would be great if Sheikh Budair and Sheikh Juhany also do it too :)

They could've easily 'snuck' him last year when Sheikh Shuraim had to lead all 8 rak'ahs of tahajjud! :heated:

I know, I agree it's very weird. :confused:


loool Najiullah! At the end of the day I believe it doesn't matter who is senior or junior if it's down to leading? And I also acknowledge that they do give more respect to senior imams (like Sheikh Sudais doing dua khatam al qur'an). Let it be. Nothing wrong with that insha'Allah. They are all masha'Allah blessed imams :wub: . Also, they are not leading/reciting or making dua for us so being famous or not really does not matter.

And yeah, I do go to that thread occasianally. :)

I don't like the way they are doing that, they should have let Sh. Shuraim made dua atleast once, he is more senior than Sh. Budayr.imsad

He is a junior imaam, but so are Sheikh Juhany and Budayr in comparison to Sheikh Shuraim. He was also a junior imaam in 2003, and they let him lead in the last ten nights then.

At the end of the day I believe it doesn't matter who is senior or junior if it's down to leading?

Oh yeah! If it's going to be junior, senior then you could also look it at this way:

Why was Sheikh Budayr given the chance to make dua when he is imam of Masjid an Nabawi whereas Sheikh Shuraim has been imam at Masjid al Haraam for so many years.

It doesn't work that way! :)

*oh and all the imams were 'junior' once.. that's discrimination* :rant: :)

All these years Sheikh Shuraim has been leading for 15 yrs, they should have let him make khatm-dua atleast once, thats all i want. I know Sh. Sudais was there longer than him, but come on.

Mash'allah Sheikh Budair also led Mahgrib the other day as well.

He is truly the "Imam of Haramain" :)

Maybe they were afraid he is going to make a Dua against America/Uk? They wont be too happy with him if he does that. Maybe they arent at terms with him, seeing as he wasnt at that place whose pics bro DF posted either. I just hope he is ok Inshallah along with Shaykh Subbail, havent seen him lead for a long time.

Did any other Imam make such a Dua against Usa/Uk? I know they mentioned Iraq, Palestine and other places.

hmm.. I don't think that must have been a reason. :confused: Any of the imams could've made that type of dua.

Also the place where they were at with the king.. there are many possibilties.. like other commitments for that day, or he wasn't shown on T.V. or maybe he said he didn't want to be captured on camera etc etc. Many possibilities. :?

thats because SAS went to see the king

also SAS led in madinah when he was visiting , and thats confrim .people who live in madinah told me who were present there at that time.

Sheikh Shuraim's not the type to make a dua against Amrika or You Kay. He doesn't even mention Iraq or Palistine by name that much, so..

he was in a talk show last year , iqra tv showed it so many times , so that not one of the possibilities
