saya tahu dari kecik kalau pontianak tu nama kota. masa saya dengar ada hantu jenama pontianak kat malaysia, saya rasa seram sejuk.
(when i was a kid, pontianak was always a town's name. but once i heard it is a malaysian lady vampire, i felt a terrible case of goosebump)
 
ternyata kat KL banyak penjahat jugak. talipon bimbit saya kena ragut masa saya pusing-pusing kat sungeiwang:'(

Peragut kat Malaysia ni kurang ajar!! Dah banyak kes, orang ramai tangkap peragut dan belasah sampai separuh mati.
Snatch thieves in Malaysia are the pain in the a$$!! There are so many cases, that the public caught them and beat them half-dead.
 
ye la! yang ragut saya belum kena tangkap. baru dua hari lalu sebelum saya balik kat Hong Kong.

(yea! luckily we don't get him. it happened within the last two day prior my return to Hong Kong).

Macam mana dia ragut telefon bimbit tu? Kat Malaysia sekarang banyak kempen-kempen dibuat untuk mengelakkan daripada diragut.
How was the situation when he snatched the mobile phone? In Malaysia now, lots of campaigns done to the public to educate people how to avoid being snatched.
 
saya tengah berpusing-pusing tengok sungeiwang dengan adik perempuan saya. tetiba jer ada yang tumbuk punggung saya dan lari. tak lama saya tahu dioghang dah ragut talipon saya.
(it happened when i was going around sungeiwang with my sister. suddenly somebody bump themselves to my back, and then i realize that i have lost my phone)

kat indonesia belum pernah saya kena ragut. tapi malang tak boleh ditolak
(it was never happen on me at Indonesia. but who can avoid bad luck)

Sebenarnya kalau kita berjaga-jaga, kita dapat menghindarinya.
Actually if we are a little bit careful, we can keep it from happen

Jangan bubuh dompet, telefon bimbit di poket belakang atau sangkut di pinggang.
Dont ever put your wallet, handphone on your rear pockets or put it on your waist

Bubuh sahaja dompet dan telefon bimbit di poket hadapan kerana:
Put your wallet and handphone on you front pockets because:

1) Kamu boleh lihat siapa yang cuba mengambil barangan kamu
1) You can see the person who try to take your things

2) Susah menyeluk saku yang di hadapan kerana dalam.
Hard to pickpocket the front pockets because it's to deep.
 
usually the snatch thieves are the drug addicts
(selalunya yang ragut tu adalah penagih dadah)

but there is one case (maybe there are many cases) that the snatch thief...snatched to be wealthy...he drives a mercedez
(adalah satu kes(mungkin banyak lagi kes) yang peragut tu...ragut beg tangan untuk hidup mewah)

08/11: Shock waves over detention of Najib's close aide

POLITICAL and intellectual circles here are abuzz with talk of the detention of one of their own in an investigation into the death of a Mongolian woman.

Abdul Razak Baginda, who is in his 40s, is a close associate of Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.

He set up the Malaysian Strategic Research Centre (MSRC) in 1993, a private think tank specialising in defence and strategic issues, when Datuk Seri Najib was first appointed Malaysian Defence Minister.

He is said to be in the inner circle of Datuk Seri Najib's supporters and aides and has been frequently quoted in Malaysian and international publications.

'I am in shock. I do not know why he has been arrested and how he can be involved,' said a close associate of Mr Abdul Razak, who declined to be named.

Mr Abdul Razak is well-known not just in Malaysia but also among the region's many research organisations for his moderate views on politics and security issues.
