the worst i got was that my kitchen caught fire. i didnt grab anything, i jus left the house after we tried puttin it out a bit with baking soda....
I inhaled so much smoke that day..it was BAD.

SubhanAllah, with Us it was Gas Cannisters we had two in the house,
that's what they use in some countries in the middle east, you don't have these gas pipes and all!!:rollseyes
so those are Reaaal dangerous, if one Explodes it sets off the ones in the neighbours.. and soooo oooon so forth!! the whole neighbourhood burns down!! :-\

Yup, you cant pass the house inspection without fire extinguisher...

and apartment buildings have them as well... if they don't.. I'm sure they are in some kind of violation.

We have a plan here at my house because we had a very close call once and we were not prepared. My husband knows that NO MATTER WHAT he is to get our son out of the house. We have a special box that we keep all important documents in that I will get out.
So I would get the box, car keys, and my wedding album.

I think you have just given us all a very good tip:

Anything we'd like to save, just keep in a separate box, so that we could just take that straight out instead of carrying lots of bits and pieces.
