Posting and User CP problems

I don't want to create problems here, but why did the mess up the themes? everything was working fine?

I would appriciate if they could fix the "element blue" theme.

I could be wrong but I think they are upgrading the Forum software.

The may also be chaging the Web host and that will entail movinge everything over to an entire new set of servers. Not, an easy task by any means. If you have every tried to upload a one gig file, you may have some idea of the scope of the job need to transfer an entire forum to another set of servers.

Plus you have to remember that everything has to be copied several times to provide reliable back up.

I am certain the new management knows what they are doing and they are well experienced on forums and have found which programs work best for them.

We all need to be patient and understanding that this is all for the improvement of the forum.

The forum has been verry successful and success can sometimes result in temporary growing pains. I suspect that once this growth spurt is finished everything will be running much smoother and more securely.

I know brother, I understand, but upload/downloading has nothing to do with forum themes. also if they are upgrading the forum, either the whole forum doesn't work, or it works completely. The themes are working partially.
I don't want to make fitnah here. cuz I know the brothers are trying to make the forum better. but I want my theme back :enough!: ;D

I want my element purple.


I know the current version of VBulletin that is used is a bit out dated. But I believe that the newer versions are not compatable with some of the themes that are on this version. Perhaps they are trying to get some of the updates and while doing so problems with the themes are needing to be resolved.

The VB upgrade is not being done just yet. I believe they are first working on the backups and stuff.

Have patience, and things will return to normal soon! It's in the forum's best interests anyway.
 
I do have the same graphic like always but i can't access my user cp. i sent a message and even doesn't show i would have more messages like before. :(

Very true.

All I can say is I am glad it is an Administrator headache and nothing I have to worry about.

Apologies for these issues seems that one of the templates has messed up

Now we just in a situation at the moment - the forum software is outdated running 3.2 and latest version is 3.7

Since this board is soo heavily modified and hack doing an upgrade is not as straight forward there is a risk of things being removed - i.e features and hacks and extra functionality

plus on top of that i very much doubt that this Skin will be compatible with 3.6.7 (not sure cos from experience it hasnt)

So just in 2 minds at the moment about this - we can go ahead with the upgrade and everything will be back to scratch (I think!!!)

Will keep you guys updated inshallah

but in the meantime use the aria skin!
 
Check now its fixed - under purple element

Will do the upgrade another time ia!
