Lal Masjid Massacre

You have seen us on the news
Heard many stories
Mostly negative
Don’t blame you if you hate us
But now its time to hear our views

You have seen men with beards and turbans
Women with faces covered and sticks in one hand
Children shouting militant slogans
We don’t blame you if you are scared

Who are we?
Are we mad, raving lunatics?
Intent of destruction and mayhem
Or are we human and Muslim just like you?

You have seen the house of Allah surrounded
Helicopters and armed soldiers
Used to attack us in our place of worship and home
You have seen bodies flooding out
Most believed the official version
But some sincere Muslims have doubts
Questions and criticisms

Do we not deserve justice and a fair hearing?
Or is it ok for us to be butchered like animals at Qurbani?
Over hundred plus dead and even more wounded
Mass graves and cover ups
Some witnesses say 1500 martyred
what was our crime and who convicted us in what court?

If you’re willing to listen and think for yourself
Then here is our story

We are Muslims
Just like you
Believe in Allah and his book and Prophet
We accept all the verses and hadith
Regardless of the change in time and place
Islam is not only in our hearts
But in our actions too

We saw the evil all around just like you do
We felt angry and sad like everyone else
Pakistan established in the name of Islam
But where is Islam in society we asked?

Musharaff came
some people applauded
Need for change from the Bhuttos and the Nawaz Sharifs
what has he delivered?
A partner in America’s war against Islam
Thousands of Muslims dead
And open vice and evil everywhere

Brothels even next to masjids
Corruption so open
Modernisation and progress some say
It’s the price we pay
For being Secular

Islam inside people’s hearts
While the decadent values tear our nation apart
Polarisation
Islamists and Secularists
With millions in the middle

So we took a stand
Against those who do evil
Used our hands
To change the condition of the people
We expected the Government to attack us
But we expected better from our brothers and sisters

Do you not wish to live in a better society?
Free from corruption and evil
Based upon the Prophets Sunnah
Where your daughters can walk without being molested
Your sons can get jobs without paying bribes
And the nation’s wealth will be utilised for the ummah

So we suffered the consequences of our sincerity to Allah
We have no regrets
After all death is decreed by the creator
We leave this world working for Allah’s deen
You and us will meet again soon
Where the only currency will be good deeds
So take advantage of the time you have left
And read the Quran and Sunnah with an open mind
And act upon its commands
InshAllah

 La Ilaha IlAllah! Allahu Akbar! BarakaAllahu Feek Akhee that was sooo wonderful, Keep Up the great work ..:sl:

"I don’t expect justice from this government. This is the government of liars and hypocrites. I have lodged my case in the court of Allah, and now He will do the justice."

The Students and the Tyrant

O Inhabitants of the Red Mosque !
You are a Shining Star
In our times of Darkness and Oppression
Your sacrifices illuminate our skies of Doubt and Frustration
You were presented with a hardship and replied;

'Indeed this is the Test, Allah has promised all believers
For Allah has tested those before us and how are we any different ?

It is as if you are living spirits of the Debate between the Pen and Sword

You proclaimed:

How can we repel with ink
When confronted with the most blind of creation
The One who places himself alongside Allah
Such fools speak not the language of persuasion and intellect
When they speak, they are words which pierce the skin of Muslims
And when they eat, it is of the flesh of Muslims

So you threw down your pens and declared :

Indeed, your [the pen] time has passed and I fear Allah's punishment for those who gain knowledge and yet stay behind '

To which the pen cried out :

'If only I was sharp enough to cut the heads of Falsehood'

O Inhabitants of the Red Mosque
Rejoice, for you have followed in the path of the Truthful
Like those before you, amongst the likes of Juhayman and his companions

It is as if you will appear on the Day of Judgment
With your blood, the color of Purple
The blue of your ink, which mixed, with the red of your blood
The color of knowledge, and that of action and implementation

May your blood not dry from the walls and may your light never extinguish
May your pens testify for you on the Day of Testifying
For such a person, who has both the Pen and Sword as support
How can they ever fail ?

May Allah accept our brothers and sisters as Martyrs

Your brother, Mustafa al Muhaajir

thought provoking....there r many views ,though, to this issue...May Allah do justice!

Another advancement on Laal Masjid

Faithful refuse to offer prayers led by new Khateeb in Lal Masjid

http://www.geo.tv/geonews/details.asp?id=9381&param=1

According to Geo news, the media is receiving threatening calls from unknown sources, not to cover the new advancements in laal masjid's story. Peoples in hundreds are demonstrating outside the masjid and are stoning the authorities. The people even pushed the Muézzin outside the mosque while they refused to pray under him.
We can also see pictures on Tv of people painting red color on the walls of the masjid that were painted white by the authorities recently. The camera men covering the story are also being pushed away by men.

I kind of question the wisdom of that. Are not the prayers to be offered to Allah(swt) Is it sufficient reason to refuse to offer a prayer to Allah(swt) because you disagree with the Khateeb?

:sl:

did these people say they would target shopping malls and airports in retaliation?

If the khateeb is a stooge of the dictator and there to give khutbahs praising the dictator then they have every right to kick him out.

I will agree they have a right to kick him out. But, I question the wisdom behind categorically refusing to follow his lead in prayers to Allah(swt).

Would it not be better to only refuse to follow his lead in prayers if they know his prayers are invalid or for the wrong purpose?

We may not always like the person who is leading us, but the question should be what is he leading us in. Not just a refusal because we disagree with the man.

If a massacring dictator puts a gov't friendly khateeb up in the Allah's house he just destroyed and matryed Allah's servant for calling people to the Deen of Allah, then i'd be worrying if my salaah is going to be accepted or not in praying behind someone who may be appointed by the traitors and enemies of Islam.

Very good and valid view. I can not disagree with that.

I just have personal difficulty in anyone telling me I have to or can not listen to any Khateeb. I am willing to listen to the reasons why I should or shouldn't and will carefully weigh the reasons. I'm just a stubborn old goat and do not like to do or not do something simply because the crowd is against it. I want valid reasons and not conjectures or personal opinions.

I would want to know first if the Khateeb is leading prayers for Islam or for the dictator. To me the fact that a person was selected by the Gov't does not guarantee that he is a follower of the Gov't.

Eleven killed in Red Mosque blast

"Most of the dead were policemen," a security official said. More than 40 people were injured.

A protest grew on Friday as students demanded the return of the mosque's surviving cleric, Abdul Aziz, who is in detention.

Security forces initially stood by as the protest began, but later dozens of police officers in full riot gear were deployed.

Armoured riot vehicles confronted the protesters, some of whom carried wooden staves or hurled rocks at police. Tear gas was fired in return.

Earlier protesters had prevented a government-appointed cleric from leading Friday prayers at what was supposed to be the peaceful re-opening of the mosque.

As you can see, they people of the Masjid don't want their masjid painted white by the gov't after they painted red with the innocent's blood and they don't want gov't stooges leading them in prayer when their own khateeb is being locked up by the enemies of Islam.

All of that is true. But, my question still is that although the Khateeb is gov't Appointed, does anybody know what his position is? Is he for Allah(swt) or for the Gov't? I am not there so I can not question the actions of the people who attend the Masjid. those are just questions I would like to personally know if I was at the Masjid and had to decide on going with or against the crowd. Although the fact he is appointed by the Gov't would be reason for suspicion, it does not automatically mean he supports the Gov't
