If you want to badmouth a mod, say it to their face. That way we know whose butt is getting banned.

As for HP; guys and gals, it is just a book that has sold well. I've seen most of the movies and it is nothing more than FANTASY.

Don't have a heart-attack over it.

i read harry potter, i think the author has an incredible imagination..the things she can cum up wid! lol

the books are jus a fun read..and i wouldn't exactly try and practice anything that is in the books.
:w:

i heard that two kids tried to take their trolley through the 'barrier' at a train station and obviously it didn't end very nicely so the book was banned for under 18s in America

those denying tht there is a bad side to this book just dont want to acccept reality because they are fans of the harry porter stuff. its a known fact tht children are likely to practice wht they see in films or read in books, especially those things they see as cool.

take for example the gangster rap culture of the 90's, i know many kids who wanted to act like their role models like tupac and all. they believed everything these rappers said in their songs and wanted to be as tough and gangster as them. the same goes for harry porter, call it fantasy or whtever but u'll be naive if u believed witchcraft doesnt exist in the present day world. im not saying all children will practice wht they seeor read but still there are those who will be facinated with the occult as a result of being fans of harry, these are the ones who will grab any opportunity to become a practicing witch or wizard. there are cults or sects out there which induldge in witchcraft if u dont know!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL Really sis? That's hilarious. They're probably trying to re-enact that scene in which they push a shopping cart into the wall, platform 9 and 3/4's was it? I so wish I could have seen that, I would probably have been laughing my guts out.

People have to give more credit to kids though. We can use the influence excuse for every situation. Evidently children will follow what they see on the movie screens and believe that it is real and applicable to real life but it's the job of parents teach their children about the difference between reality and fiction.

theres really no need arguing this topic because people will believe whtever they choose to.

harry porter wether u like it or not has a way of affecting the lives of people, it sends subliminal messages imprinted in the minds of pple, theyll carry some of these through out their lives.

compare the kids of the superman and spiderman ages with those of their parents, theres alot of difference in their behavioral patterns. period!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:sl:

nevesirth, I must say that is an insult to the children that you would underestimate their intelligence so much.

when ur kids start practicing withcraft, then youll know how intelligent they are. y not let ur kids watch 'porn' because they are so intelligent tht they wont practice wht they see!!!!!!!!!!!!

aamirsaab summed up the best.

I loved Superman, but I never jumped off a building with a cape.

maybe u never jumped of a building with a cape, but some other kids did worse than tht. growing up, i knew of kids who broke their legs because they wanted to fly like superman by jumping from the first floor of their house to a concrete floor. and this is a true story not fantasy, it did happen!!!!!!!!!

You can't protect people from there own stupidity.

Just look at me. :D

Looooooooooooooooool, people have their own minds you can't help it, but I doubt they would go to the extent of practising what they see.

where do u tink many peeople learnt about sex or how to fire an automatic weapon? they learnt these and many more from films books and computer games, so books or films with negative message are not good. whts the aim of harry porter, its glorifying wtchcraft, even if it tells us tht there are bad witches and good ones, the fact is tht witchcraft is witchcraft, black magic and white magic are both magic!!!!!!!!!!!

Harry Potter: 'Making Evil Look Innocent'

Issue Date: November/December 2001

What are kids saying about Harry Potter? Here are some samples:

"I want to go to wizard school and learn magic. I'd like to learn to use a wand to cast spells." Dylan, age 10.
"If I could go to wizard school, I might be able to do spells and potions and fly a broomstick." Mara, age 12.

"It would be great to be a wizard because you could control situations and things like teachers." Jeffrey, age 11.

"I'd like to go to wizard school and learn magic and put spells on people. I'd make up an ugly spell and then it's pay-back time." Catherine, age 9.

"I feel like I'm inside Harry's world. If I went to wizard school I'd study everything: spells, counterspells, and defense against the dark arts." Carolyn, age 10.

"I liked it when the bad guys killed the unicorn and Voldemort drank its blood." Julie, age 13.

"The books are very clever. I couldn't put them down. When I was scared I made myself believe that it was supposed to be funny so I wasn't so scared." Nuray age 11.

These are the comments of young readers of the Harry Potter wizard books quoted on a new video by Jeremiah Films. On the video, called Harry Potter: Witchcraft Repackaged, Making Evil Look Innocent, author Robert S. McGee explains: "Children as young as kindergarten are being introduced to human sacrifice, the sucking of blood from dead animals, and possession by spirit beings."

Courts have banned the teaching of Christianity in public schools but Wicca, which is recognized by the U.S. courts as a religion and given tax-exempt status by the IRS, is taught freely. As well, Harry Potter has become the method of introduction of sorcery to the very young.

Harry Potter materials have become much more than a hand full of children's fantasy books. Warner Brothers, Coca Cola, Minutemaid, and Mattel have used the Potter materials to launch games, puzzles, toys, backpacks, and every possible merchandizing product.

Scholastic, Inc., a major supplier of public school teaching aids has added the Potter literature to its line of curriculum materials. When the name "Harry Potter" is keyed into the Scholastic.com web site search engine, it returns 268 matches. "Jesus" returned only 23.

And now, a major movie is about to break on the scene called "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." Millions of dollars are being spent on pre-release hype.

Once introduced to the world of wizards, spells, and dark arts, readers of Harry Potter can advance their knowledge and skills in witchcraft and paganism by visiting the hundreds of web sites available on the internet.

Or, they can purchase more books on the subject from the well stocked occult sections in local book super stores. Or, they can find over a thousand volumes on witchcraft available at Amazon.com.

Harry Potter books have taken the world of children's fantasy literature by storm. Over 200 million have been sold in 40 languages. One study shows that over half of the children in the western world have read at least one of the Potter books. Many reported rereading each book several times.

But is it just fantasy literature like Snow White and Cinderella? In the Harry Potter video, cult expert Caryl Matrisciana points out that in the older stories, evil never prevails.

There are no absolutes in his world. What is right depends on the situation.

Witchcraft now has a complete package. Starting in kindergarten with Harry Potter and TV witch shows, children are led on to the horror movies and hundreds of Wicca and pagan web sites. When they thirst for more power, high school and college Wicca covens are available. In the adult world, corporations are hiring New Age practitioners to provide seminars in sensitivity training, stress relief, and self improvement for employees.

Former Satanist William Schnoebelen points out in his book, Wicca, Satan's Little White Lie, that, "I finally learned in the most graphic fashion imaginable that the difference between witchcraft or Wicca and Satanism is actually non-existent."

Before he was saved he found himself cruising the streets looking for a lone female to assault, not for sex, but to drink her blood.1

The bottom line is a hunger for power. Harry Potter and the rest of witchcraft promises that power. But in the end they discover that Satan is really in charge of the power and only uses it like cheese in a mouse trap.

Harry Potter provides a basic initiation into witchcraft for a whole new generation. Imagine what the world will be like when they grow up.

harry Potter Promotes Satanism!!!!!!!!!!!!

im sure most of u people dont know a thing about witchcraft, satanism or wwiccan religion, thts why u think harry potter is just fiction or fantasy, like witchcraft is not real, be wise and realise tht these books are promating satanism, those who have been to the dark side know the tricks used to get more followers. harry potter is just a bait to lure naive unsuspecting souls to the devil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

children are not born with a manual on wht is good and wht is evil, so when u fill their minds with such books, it only programmes their minds and make them believe witchcraft is a normal and good practice!!!!!!!!!

:salamext:

Harry Potter is a wicked series of books :D

harry potter is a tool being used by the followers of wicca and satanism to get new converts. we are going to see a generation of muslims and christians who will mix their religion with wicca either conciously or not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

has any of u ever read the satanic bible by aton szandor lavey? or the alexandra book of magic? there are alot of books and websites out there which help people practice the kind of witchcraft potrayed in harry potter. ull never know till u are quite conversant with these sects!!!!!!!!! salam

:hmm: "Aton Lavey meets Harry Potter" should be a best seller.
:hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

the way pple will say the devil or god dont exist is the same way theyll say witchcraft is just a figment of the imagination.the wisest act by the devil is making humans believe he doesnt exist. same way hes making humans feel harry potter is just a harmless fantasy book!!!!!!!!!!!

witchcraft exists. The only question is seeking power in nature any more evil that seeking power through god.

If you seek power to do good, I don't see how it is any more wrong than one religion over another.

Of cource seeking power to do bad is always wrong.

So which is worse asking nature to help you heal someone or asking god to help you kill someone?
