:salamext: simple...don't then.

Practice a little self-control brother and it'll get you far. If we all followed our desires and listened to the whispers of shaytaan, we'd all be done for. Live with the Akhirah in mind Insha'Allah. Everything you do in this world will ahve an affect on your Akhirah. Drugs are haram!

Drugs are more than a short time experience. they are/become an entire life experience. It is much more than a one time or occasional high. It is a total life style. You can not avoid drugs and keep the life style. It is a circular series of cause and events.

Life Style=drugs=life style=drugs=life style=drugs=life style=drugs

To give up drugs requires a change of life. You can not give up one without giving up the other. Both are equal parts of the same problem.

:salamext:

The only way to avoid drugs is to strengthen your eeman.... Always be cautions of Allah. Read the quran do extra solat and go to the masjid. Like akhee woodrow said, change your life style!

Wake up early and go jogging. Do alot of excercises.

I remember a friend of mine, he quit drugs for about 3 years. Eventhough everyone around him was involved in drugs but he was not influenced. But when he took for granted of his eeman...and taking for granted in preserving his eeman...he look everywhere to find drugs. And at the end he lost his job and a fiancee :(.

Remember your eeman...remember eeman is the sweetest Rthing anyone can have. Remember loving Allah swt and Prophet Muhammad SAW is something we should never stop to achieve. Nothing can replace the high eeman that we had and blessing by Allah swt.

Take care and preserve your eeman... Is the only way and the best way.

I pray for you ....i pray every muslim will preserve and increase their eeman. And together the ummah will succeed. With the hope that we can achieve muktamar khilafah. InshaAllah.

Mate, you need new friends!

Also, aren't there non-drug stuff that you can take yo stop you from craving drugs?

Bro/ sis if you can go without drugs for 3 weeks you can carry on going without them, seriously man u wanna end up being a junkie, crackhead most of them steal to pay to get the drugs you wanan end up like that.

Also it's very addictive, you'll start with one drug and than you'll want more, heroin, cocaince, wont stop. Peoples lives have been messed up because of drugs, think about your parents man u think they wanna see their son as a junkie.

Noone respects drugies man, so why go down that path. Justt stay at home, ramadhan is coming use your time wisly learn about your deen.

Your in the wrong company! Go out find some more practising muslims and try and socialise with them... go bak to col/uni and start over if u need to

It's still not too late, u need to find a way to utilise your time.. it's as they say 'a free mind is the devil's workshop'
So go back and get your grades and start over.. it'll keep you busy if nothing else inshaAllah

And make sure you watch who u make friends with inshaAllah! :)

To give up drugs requires a change of life.

Agreed. Bro/Sis? you need to change your life style, if you have no alternative you most probably will go back to the only thing you have in your life and sad as it maybe, that only thing might be your druggy friends!

assalaamu alaykum,

i agree with what others have said, you need a new social scene.

in your present condition you are probably not strong enough to give these others dawah so look at finding pious company, get to know the people in the masjid and at study circles and keep their company.

look at this as a positive not a negative, rather than looking at it as keeping away from your friends, looking at it as getting some new ones.

assalaamu alaykum,
Abu Abdullah

Change is hard but never impossible.

Change need alot of sacrifices. The person who should start the 'change' is YOU! and nobody else.

Just try making changes abit by bit. Have faith and make alot of dua. InshaAllah Allah will always be there to help you :)

Peace,

Tell your parents and seek medical help. It will be difficult to work through this on your own. You have the desire to stop although perhaps not the willpower as yet. Strengthen yourself with those around you who can give you the support you need...

Seek help through prayer and meditation and pray for God's help. The path you are on is extremely dangerous and can only lead to saddness for both you and your family.

Remove yourself from your current circle of friends and find people who will help you, not kill you. Remember drugs are Satan's disease, do not allow the devil to claim your soul.Fight back with every part of your body and soul and find the light that is God.

habbits are ahrd to break however inshallah allah will give you the stregnth to get past this.

you need to remove yourself from the situation and make new habbits, possitive habbits, a routine should keep you feeling a little better because after a day or 2 your body will get use to it
ex would be like this

500am wake up wudu and pray (please dont quote prayer times)
600am breakfest (not during ramadan..lol)
630am brisk walk outside
700am read newspaper
720 get ready for work

etc, etc...
after about a week of this your body should calm down a bit its just going to be difficult getting past the first week or two and not relaps.

another key is to repeat things in your heads when your having a hard time, like your kaleema or versus from the quran or an islamic song (try yusuf islam)
it will help ease your axioety and deture your mind from the negative thoughts

good luck

also find a good friend or new friend thats willing to support you, someone you can call or be with when your having a hard time, hope you work through this

salams...

firstly...i praise u and really admire your will to change...

do you know what the best part is....you know whats right...if u dnt turn back now...a day will come where you will teach urself to justify your addictions...it wont seem as bad...and it wont seem as tho u can do anything about it so you will just let go...

u wont always be this aware of what u are doing....it can only go downhill if u stick to these habits...

so...

stop right now...and ask yourself. do u want to get worse...? do u want a life structured around drugs? do u want a life structured around drug addicts? do u want a life without education? do u want a life without a proper job? do u want a family? do u want heathy kids? do u want to hurt ur parents? do u want to die from drugs?

its not only a matter of leavn the drugs for ramadan..its a matter of ur entire life...you at least know what is right and what is wrong at the moment...think abt this and dnt let go...the more times you let go and climb back up..the more justification ur mind will have to tell you that u are a quitter and that it is never gna work...so try to gte it right the first time...and the first time is right now...it has been three weeks...thats hard...but uve battled it out...and i beleive that u can end this...not on ur own tho...

u must show Allah that ur intentions are pure...give him ur hand and he will give u his arm...walk to him him and he will come running to u...just show him that u want to stop...pray to him for help and guidance...pray that he never lets go of ur hand. pray that he keeps u alert all the time...he is the all-mighty and the giver of might...trust Allah before u trust urself...u will succeed inshallah.

put ur head down in sucud and talk to Allah...tell him ur problems...tell him what u are going thru and thinking...cry to him..if u cant cry..fake it...till u make it...he will hear u and shine upon u...u are his little baby..and he doesnt wnat to see u hurt...he loves u..coz by the will to give up the drugs, ur showing him that u love him...

i know ur gettn bored at hm...u wud,...pik up a hobby...i dnt know u or ur gender(im guessing that ur a female tho)...just find stuff to do..to keep ur mind off the boredom and the drugs.i have a frend gettn ova drugs...she did it by learning to play the electric guitar...its cheaper too.

you also have this forum..and us...u want new frends...uve got me...for starters...but seriosly...go to a close by islamic foundation..u need to be around ppl who act in the name and virtue of Allah...u need people so nice, that ur current frends will seem like idiots next to ur new ones...they need to get ur mind off ur old frends...noone will look down or 'weird' upon u...ur a normal person...with a bad habit...its like smoking or pikn ur nose--so to speak...

one thing to keep u going..think of every day as a step...on its own...dnt think about tomorrow..or a week later...take every day as it comes.you dnt know if u will be living the day after...so focus on today...it well seem less daunting...and every day that u suceed..gift urself.(not with drugs)...make a chart system or something...give urself a golden star (this actually works no matter what age)...maybe get a close frend (non-druggie) to help with the following up..if u have someone to report to, u will have more pressure to not do drugs...this is a good thing at the moment...u need a little preesure...

also...promise urself...and dnt break ur promise...respect urself enuf to not break ur promise...respect urself enuf to keep away from that filthy crap...respect urself enuf to make some fine frends...u are not only capable of these...u deserve it...u are young..u are muslim...u are a creation of Allah..so respect Allah's creation.

im willing to help u...i want u to leave the drugs full on.
i can give u my email if u want...jsut lemme know...

peace...good luck...
May Allah always walk before u.:)
