Baru semalam I was telling the same thing to my mother....I said is it orang melayu ajeke who like to say Masha'Allah to everything? pelik lah, macam tak tahu aje makna Masha'allah ;D

But it's true, Lebanese, Egyptian,Syrian, Tunisian movies/music vids etc are veryyyyyyy terrible Allah yahdeehim :exhausted

I really dont know the word masha Allah said when we see something beautiful...really? :omg: I just knew it today. All I know masha Allah means "dah menjadi ketentuan Allah", dan ketentuan Allah itu bukan hanya yang baik saja, tapi yag buruk jugak.
How if I said "Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal"? Its sunnah if Im not mistaken to say this in every conditio even bad things? Tetap harus bersyukur walaupun musibah, karena setelah musibah biasanya banyak yang bertaubat.

Orang Arab menggunakan perkataan "Masha Allah" untuk perkara yang menyeronokkan dan meriangkan.

Saya rasa kalau untuk perkara yang tidak baik - "Astaghfirullah"

Mungkin in bergantung kepada tabiat masing2. Contohnya, bila saya melihat orang membuat kebaikan saya akan kata dalam hati "Allahummaghfir lahu war hamoo"

:sl: MashaAllah is used when u see something wonderful creation of Allah, something that is good to the eyes eg, when u see a beautiful child wearing a hijab, MashaAllah that you wish your children will do the same, get what I mean.:) an exclamation to someone reciting beautiful nasheed or quran etc.

In the case of tsunami victims, you prayed for them by saying innalillahi wainna ilayhi rojiun 'coz that was unexpected of them to die that way.

With 'Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal' what I always heard is you used it to yourself eg; when someone ask you 'how you feeling' and you reply "Im feeling stressed or Im not feeling well but Alhamdullillah 'ala kulli hal' .

Allahu ALam, correct me readers if Im wrong, Im learning too with all this duas InshaAllah:embarrass.

I think for Malays they get confused between MashaAllah and Astaghfirullah:rolleyes:

I'm still alive alhamdulillah :p

I've been suffering from terrible migraines though,for a whole week! so bad I cannot walk, so I spend alot of my day sleeping :zip:

I loved the pantun though, did you write it yourself? I basically forgot about nestum until I read this :giggling:

As far as I know 'lif' is one of those words adopted from the English language into Malay.

Dont you see the Malay-ism of the word? there is no T :D

Try drink more plain water for your migraine...insya Allah...its normal when we do not have enough fluid in the body...:)
