The plecostomus and the kuhli loach are my favorites. The plecos can get quite big if you have a very large tank. They are starting to show up in our Texas lakes were people have turned them loose. they are not native to Texas, but there are getting to be reports of people catching them. Apparantly they are now adapted for here.

Thats interesting! At least the ppl there let them loose and don't keep them cramped in a small tank, which so often happens! I know the common pleco gets big, the leopard sailfin even bigger (50cm!). We have a big pond which i intend putting them in when they get too big, the common pleco, though will fit in my tank. (will check out the link when i have more time)
