Wow :O. True say, NoName55!

Well now the question seems well answered enough, after many years of study from Scientists. And Allah told us not to eat Pork when the Qu'ran was sent down, many many years ago. Shows that we should always obey the Qu'ran, even if we don't know the full reason as to why Allah told us not to do something; a full reason will come soon enough as shown on this thread :D.

Allahu Ukbur!

What does the second qoute in your sig mean?
:sl:

This >> "Do not sit with the people of innovated beliefs, do not debate with them and do not listen to them."?

It means what it says

Beware of friendship with the people of the innovated sects, innovated beliefs and people of deviation, beware of sitting with them and beware of listening to them or hearing or reading their words, beware of debating with them and arguing with them - and allowing them to quote their misguided beliefs to you. Imam al-Laalikaa'ee mentions a large number of narration's from the Salaf warning against associating with the people of innovation in his 'Sharh Usool I'tiqaad Ahlis-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah'
lest we become like them

oh. Well, I never quite knew that. Thank you for the elaboration :D

Lol. Can we please try and stay on topic guys? Thanks :D

what topic? it should NOT even have been started as it is around fiftieth rehash of an existing topic.

You mean there is already a topic about the post of a The Guardian newspaper? Chill man, even at the end of my first post I said "(I apologize if a thread about this is already present, if there is I am unaware of it.)"

Just wanted to add that although the current advice includes pork in whichever form, the main point of the article is advising against consumption of red meat in general.

It's good advice. A lot of our meat is pumped full of chemicals, hormones and steroids anyway.

:hmm:

YES, correct! but some people have selective sight for some weird reason. And are obsessed with reason for why some thing is prohibited instead of just accepting the prohibition.

were it any more dangerous to consume than any other animal, why would Allah Ta'ala allow us to use it in life and death situations?

P.S. Pork is white meat

Mm true, but they've disencouraged pork further than they disencourage red meat in general. :)

Veg, fruit, pulses, nuts, seeds, honey, and lots of all of them.

All we need in my opinion! Yum yum.

YAY for veggies.

:D

Even if Allah didn't forbid to eat porks ,i'll never eat it.
Just by it looks disgusts me a lot. Look at how they eat, live and breed..its all in dirty place.

That is true, they are dirty animals.

That is true, they are dirty animals.
if that is true then what do you think of this >> "... if any (one) is forced by hunger (to eat), with no inclination to transgression, God is indeed Oft-Forgiving ..."?

It is true, they eat other animals excretion (including therselves), they like to live in dirty places, and they are generally just dirty animals :).

By the way, in your post; "God is indeed Oft-Forgiving..?

hola

pork, like anything should be eaten as part of a balanced diet and not in excess as the article mentioned... obviously you do not have to eat it since there are plenty of sources for protein in the world.

i am a little concerned about not eating red meat at all... perhaps i misread that but did somebody say that on the last page? what is the islamic reason for this?

que Dios te bendiga
