Do not look at those who are living a life of luxury and extravagance, for they are to be pitied, not envied. People whose only concern is to spend extravagantly on themselves and indulge in their every whim and desire and seek pleasure - whether it is permissible or forbidden - are not happy. Rather, they are living a hard life of stress and worry, because no one who deviates from the path of Allah and disobeys Him will ever find happiness. ​

So, do not think that those who live a life of luxury and extravagance are happy and content, not at all. Some poor women living in mud huts are better off than those who sleep in feather beds and sheets of brocade and silk in lofty palaces, because the poor woman who believes in Allah the Exalted and worships Him is better off than the one who has gone astray from the path of Allah.​

Agreed. And its true. The ones who have it all spend all of their free time taking care of all that they have saved up...the more possesions you have the more of your life you waste taking care of it. Blah what a wastee! I'd rather be living in a hut with the bare essentials thank you very muchly!

Yups, for sure.

Also, like when do they tire of it?? They spend spend SPEND and even after that still feel the need to spend. Life for them is a game, its constant competition between others who are the same. Wanna kit up that pad and the car and then after that you gotta insure all the stuff you buy but never use, its all for show and WHYY? They DONT KNOW! IF only we was all living to die, life would be so much better.

Lol I was thinking of lending mine to my friend and then I decided that I wouldnt coz I wouldnt be able to last long without it, but then I thought about how much it would benefit her bi'ithnillah lol :p :-[
