Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:
I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--
(1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),
(2) to follow funeral processions,
(3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),
(4) to return greetings,
(5) to help the oppressed,
(6) to accept invitations,
(7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "When a non-believer does good deed he is made to taste its reward in this world. And for believer is concerned, Allah (SWT) stores (the reward) of his virtues for the hereafter and provides him sustenance in accordance with his obedience to him (in this world)".
Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Sa’d narrated from his father, from Sa’d, that the Messenger of Allah said:
“The supplication of Dhun-Nun (Prophet Yunus) when he supplicated, while in the belly of the whale, was: ‘There is none worthy of worship except You, Glory to You, Indeed, I have been of the transgressors. (Laa Ilaaha Illaa Anta Subhaanaka Innee Kuntu Minaz-Zhaalimeen)’ So indeed, no Muslim man supplicated with it for anything, ever, except Allah responds to him.” (Sahih)

And (mention) Dhu'n-Nun, when he went off in anger and deemed that We had no power over him, but he cried out in the darknesses, saying: "There is none worthy of worship except You. Glory be to You, Indeed, I have been of the transgressors." So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers. (Qur'an, Surah al-Anbiyaa' (21) :87-88)

Reported by Ibn ‘Abbas (RA): I did not see anything so resembling minor sins as what Abu Huraira (RA) said from the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said, “Allah has written for the son of Adam his inevitable share of adultery whether he is aware of it or not: The adultery of the eye is the looking (at something which is sinful to look at), and the adultery of the tongue is to utter (what it is unlawful to utter), and the innerself wishes and longs for (adultery) and the private parts turn that into reality or refrain from submitting to the temptation.”

Reported by Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “When a group of people assemble for the remembrance of Allah, the angels surround them (with their wings), (Allah’s) mercy envelops them, sakinah, or tranquility descends upon them and Allah makes a mention of them before those who are near Him.”

3rd Dhul Hijjah 1434 (8th October 2013)
Narrated 'Aisha (Radi-Allahu 'anha):
Two old ladies from among the Jewish ladies entered upon me and said, "The dead are punished in their graves," but I thought they were telling a lie and did not believe them in the beginning. When they went away and the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) entered upon me, I said, "O Allah's Apostle! Two old ladies.." and told him the whole story. He said, "They told the truth; the dead are really punished, to the extent that all the animals hear (the sound resulting from) their punishment." Since then I always saw him seeking refuge with Allah from the punishment of the grave in his prayers.
Hadith: The Sahaabah enquired from Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) about the Qurbaani practice. Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: "It is the way of your father, Ibraheem (alayhis salaam)." The Sahabah asked: "What will we acquire by it?" Rasullullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) replied: "A good deed (is recorded for you) in return for every hair (on its body)." The Sahaabah asked: "O Rasulullah! If there is wool on the body?" Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: "A good deed in return for every strand (of wool on its body)."
Reported by Abu Musa Al-Ash’ari (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said “Allah the Most Sublime stretches His Hand by night so that those who sinned during the day would repent; and He stretches His Hand by day so that those who have sinned by night might repent. This will last until the sun rises from the west (at the end of time).”
