    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Reported by Abu Hurairah (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “He who removes from a believer one of his difficulties of this world, Allah will remove one of his troubles on the Day of Resurrection; and he who finds relief for a hard-pressed person, Allah will make things easy for him on the Day of Resurrection.”

    As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

    17th Dhul Hijjah 1435 (11th October 2014)

    Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Whoever keeps a dog,
one Qirat of the reward of his good deeds is deducted daily, unless the dog

said from the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam), "unless it is used

Huraira: The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "A dog for

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    18th Dhul Hijjah 1435 (12th October 2014)

    Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "There are three
persons whom Allah will not look at on the Day of Resurrection, nor will he
purify them and theirs shall be a severe punishment. They are:

    1. A man who possessed superfluous water, on a way and he withheld it from
    travellers.

    2. A man who gave a pledge of allegiance to a ruler and he gave it only for
worldly benefits. If the ruler gives him something he gets satisfied, and
if the ruler withholds something from him, he gets dissatisfied.

    3. And man who displayed his goods for sale after the 'Asr prayer and
wrongfully said, 'By Allah, except Whom None has the right to be
worshipped, I have been given so much for my goods,' and somebody believes
    him (and buys them)."

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) then recited: "Verily! Those who
purchase a little gain at the cost of Allah's Covenant and their oaths."

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "While a man was

    20th Dhul Hijjah 1435 (14th October 2014)

Narrated Asma' bint Abi Bakr (Radi-Allahu 'anha):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) prayed the eclipse prayer, and
then said, "Hell was displayed so close that I said, 'O my Lord ! Am I

Hazrat Wathilah bin Al-Asqa (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Of the worst lies are: to claim a false father, or to pretend to have seen what one has not seen (tell a false dream), or to attribute to the Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) what he has not said.” (Like fabricating false Hadith)

    22nd Dhul Hijjah 1435 (16th October 2014)

    Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

A man demanded his debts from Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa
Sallam) in such a rude manner that the companions of the Prophet intended
to harm him, but the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Leave
him, no doubt, for he (the creditor) has the right to demand it (harshly).
Buy a camel and give it to him."

They said, "The camel that is available is

older than the camel he demands."

    The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa

Reported by Abu Yahya Suhaib bin Sinan (RA): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “How wonderful is the case of a believer; there is good for him in everything and this applies only to a believer. If prosperity attends him, he expresses gratitude to Allah and that is good for him; and if adversity befalls him, he endures it patiently and that is better for him”.

Reported by Ibn ‘Abbas (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, ‘There are two blessings which many people lose: (They are) health and free time for doing good.’

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

Reported by Abu Hurairah (RA): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “My example and the example of the other Prophets before me is like that of a man who has built a house nicely and beautifully, except for a place of one brick in a corner. People go around it and wonder at its beauty, but say: ‘Would that this brick be put in its place!’ So I am that brick, and I am the end (last) of the Prophets.”
