Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:
I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--
(1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),
(2) to follow funeral processions,
(3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),
(4) to return greetings,
(5) to help the oppressed,
(6) to accept invitations,
(7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Narrated Anas RA: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever possesses the following three qualities will have the sweetness (delight) of faith:
1. The one to whom Allah and His Apostle becomes dearer than anything else.
2. Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah’s sake.
3. Who hates to revert to Atheism (disbelief) as he hates to be thrown into the fire.”

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (Radi Allahu 'anhu):
I brought water to Uthman bin 'Affan to perform the ablution while he was
sitting on his seat.
He performed the ablution in a perfect way and said,
"I saw the Prophet performing the ablution in this place and he performed
it in a perfect way and said, "Whoever performs the ablution as I have done
this time and then proceeds to the masjid and offers a two-Rak'at prayer
and then sits there (waiting for the compulsory congregational prayers),
then all his past sins will be forgiven."
The Prophet further added, "Do
not be conceited (thinking that your sins will be forgiven because of your
prayer)."

Narrated Hakim bin Hizam (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
I asked the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) (for some money) and he
gave me, and then again I asked him and he gave me, and then again I asked
him and he gave me and he then said, "This wealth is (like) green and sweet
(fruit), and whoever takes it without greed, Allah will bless it for him,
but whoever takes it with greed, Allah will not bless it for him, and he
will be like the one who eats but is never satisfied.
And the upper (giving) hand is better than the lower (taking) hand."

Narrated Anas RA: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Medina is a sanctuary from that place to that. Its trees should not be cut and no heresy should be innovated nor any sin should be committed in it, and whoever innovates in it an heresy or commits sins (bad deeds), then he will incur the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people.” (Bukhari – Vol. 3, Book 30, Hadith 91)

Narrated Abdullah bin Amr RA: Once the Prophet (peace be upon him) remained behind us in a journey. He joined us while we were performing ablution for the prayer which was over-due. We were just passing wet hands over our feet (and not washing them properly) so the Prophet (peace be upon him) addressed us in a loud voice and said twice or thrice: “Save your heels from the fire.”

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "The deeds of anyone
of you will not save you (from the (Hell) Fire)."
They said, "Even you (will not be saved by your deeds), O Allah's Apostle?"
He said, "No, even I (will not be saved) unless and until Allah bestows His Mercy on me.
Therefore, do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately, and worship
Allah in the forenoon and in the afternoon and during a part of the night,
and always adopt a middle, moderate, regular course whereby you will reach
your target (Paradise)."

Narrated Zaid bin Arqam RA: In the lifetime of the Prophet (peace be upon him) we used to speak while praying, and one of us would tell his needs to his companions, till the verse, ‘Guard strictly your prayers’ (2.238) was revealed. After that we were ordered to remain silent while praying.

Narrated Abu Huraira RA: Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said, “When the call for prayer is made, Shaytan takes to his heels passing wind so that he may not hear the Adhan and when the call is finished he comes back, and when the Iqama is pronounced, Shaytan again takes to his heels, and when the Iqama is finished he comes back again and tries to interfere with the person and his thoughts and say, “Remember this and that (which he has not thought of before the prayer)”, till the praying person forgets how much he has prayed. If anyone of you does not remember whether he has offered three or four rak’at then he should perform two prostrations of Sahu while sitting.

Narrated 'Aisha (Radi-Allahu 'anha):
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) was asked, "What deeds are loved most by Allah?" He said, "The most regular constant deeds even though they may be few." He added, "Don't take upon yourselves, except the deeds which are within your ability."

Narrated Rabi’a RA: Umar bin Al-Khattab RA recited Surat-an-Nahl on a Friday on the pulpit and when he reached the verse of Sajda he got down from the pulpit and prostrated and the people also prostrated. The next Friday Umar bin Al-Khattab RA recited the same Sura and when he reached the verse of Sajda he said, “O people! When we recite the verses of Sajda (during the sermon) whoever prostrates does the right thing, yet it is no sin for the one who does not prostrate.” And `Umar did not prostrate (that day). Added Ibn Umar RA “Allah has not made the prostration of recitation compulsory but if we wish we can do it.”

Narrated Anas bin Malik (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
Once Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) led us in prayer and
then (after finishing it) ascended the pulpit and pointed with his hand
towards the Qibla of the mosque and said, "While I was leading you in
prayer, both Paradise and Hell were displayed in front of me in the
direction of this wall. I had never seen a better thing (than Paradise) and
a worse thing (than Hell) as I have seen today, I had never seen a better
thing and a worse thing as I have seen today."

Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shu'ba (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) used to pray so much that his
feet used to become oedematous or swollen, and when he was asked as to why
he prays so much, he would say, "Shall I not be a thankful slave (to
Allah)?"

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should talk what is good or keep quiet, and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not hurt (or insult) his neighbour; and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should entertain his guest generously."

On the authority of Uqbah ibn Amir (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: Your Lord delights at a shepherd who, on the peak of a mountain crag, gives the call to prayer and prays. Then Allah (glorified and exalted be He) say: Look at this servant of Mine, he gives the call to prayer and performs the prayers; he is in awe of Me. I have forgiven My servant [his sins] and have admitted him to Paradise. It was related by an-Nasa’i with a good chain of authorities. (Hadith Qudsi 7)

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "A slave (of Allah) may
utter a word which pleases Allah without giving it much importance, and
because of that Allah will raise him to degrees (of reward); a slave (of
Allah) may utter a word (carelessly) which displeases Allah without
thinking of its gravity and because of that he will be thrown into the
Hell-Fire."
