    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    17th Rabi al-Awwal 1437 (28th December 2015)

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Once the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) remained behind us in a
journey. He joined us while we were performing ablution for the prayer
which was over-due. We were just passing wet hands over our feet (and not
washing them properly) so the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam)
addressed us in a loud voice and said twice or thrice: "Save your heels
    from the fire."

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    18th Rabi al-Awwal 1437 (29th December 2015)

Narrated Abu Waqid Al-Laithi (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

While Allah's Apostle was sitting in the mosque with some people, three men
came. Two of them came in front of Allah's Apostle and the third one went
    away.

The two persons kept on standing before Allah's Apostle for a while
and then one of them found a place in the circle and sat there while the
other sat behind the gathering, and the third one went away.

When Allah's Apostle finished his preaching, he said, "Shall I tell you about these
    three persons?

One of them be-took himself to Allah, so Allah took him into
His grace and mercy and accommodated him, the second felt shy from Allah,
so Allah sheltered Him in His mercy (and did not punish him), while the
third turned his face from Allah and went away, so Allah turned His face
    from him likewise. "

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying:
None amongst you can get. into Paradise by virtue of his deeds alone. They said: Allah’s Messenger, not even you? Thereupon he said: Not even I, but that Allah should wrap me in His Grace and Mercy.

portents of the Hour are (the following):

    1. Religious knowledge will be taken away (by the death of Religious
    learned men).

    2. (Religious) ignorance will prevail.

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    23rd Rabi al-Awwal 1437 (3rd January 2016)

Narrated Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

A man asked the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) about the picking up
of a "Luqata" (fallen lost thing). The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa
Sallam) replied, "Recognize and remember its tying material and its
container, and make public announcement (about it) for one year, then
utilize it but give it to its owner if he comes." Then the person asked
    about the lost camel.

On that, the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam)

got angry and his cheeks or his Face became red and he said, "You have no
concern with it as it has its water container, and its feet and it will
reach water, and eat (the leaves) of trees till its owner finds it." The
man then asked about the lost sheep.

    The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa
Sallam) replied, "It is either for you, for your brother (another person)
    or for the wolf."

It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira RA that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) observed: Avoid the seven noxious things. It was said (by the hearers): What are they, Messenger of Allah?

He (the Holy Prophet) replied: Associating anything with Allah, magic, killing of one whom God has declared inviolate without a just cause, consuming the property of an orphan, and consuming of usury, turning back when the army advances, and slandering chaste women who are believers, but unwary. Re: Hadeeth of the day

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    27th Rabi al-Awwal 1437 (7th January 2016)

    Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Name yourselves with my
name (use my name) but do not name yourselves with my Kunya name (i.e.
    Abu-l Qasim).

And whoever sees me in a dream then surely he has seen me for
Satan cannot impersonate me. And whoever tells a lie against me
(intentionally), then (surely) let him occupy his seat in Hell-fire."

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

It was narrated from Shaddad bin Aws RA that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Allah has prescribed Al-Ihsan (proficiency) in all things. So if you kill, then kill well, and if you slaughter, then slaughter well. Let one of you sharpen his blade and spare suffering to the animal he slaughters.” (Sunan Ibn Majah - Vol. 4, Book 27, Hadith 3170)
