    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr RA: Abu Bakr As-Siddiq RA said to the Prophet (peace be upon him) "O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him)! Teach me an invocation with which I may invoke Allah in my prayers." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Say: O Allah! 21st Jumada al-Thani 1437 (30th March 2016)

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Abdullah (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

I saw 'Abdullah bin 'Umar crossing his legs while sitting in the prayer and
I, a mere youngster in those days, did the same. Ibn 'Umar forbade me to do
so, and said, "The proper way is to keep the right foot propped up and bend

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah RA: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "I have been given five things which were not given to any one else before me. -1. Allah made me victorious by awe, (by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month's journey. -2. The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for praying and a thing to perform Tayammum, therefore anyone of my followers can pray wherever the time of a prayer is due. -3. The booty has been made Halal (lawful) for me yet it was not lawful for anyone else before me. -4. I have been given the right of intercession (on the Day of Resurrection). -5. Every Prophet used to be sent to his nation only but I have been sent to all mankind. (Bukhari - Vol. 1, Book 7, Hadith 331)

In another narration, the Prophet said, “Sleep is the brother of death, and the people of Paradise do not die.”

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was never obscene, nor would he behave immorally. The Prophet would say, “Verily, the best of you are those with the best character.”

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Our Lord descends to the heaven on the last third of every night, and he says: Who is calling upon me that I may answer him? You should not give away a part of your prayer to Satan by thinking that it
is necessary to depart (after finishing the prayer) from one's right side

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Every day, charity is due from each of your joints; assisting a man to mount his beast or helping him load his luggage on it is a charity.” (Bukhari)

Narrated `Urwa's RA father: Aisha RA said, "I borrowed a necklace from Asma RA and it was lost. So Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) sent a man to search for it and he found it. Then the time of the prayer became due and there was no water. They prayed (without ablution) and informed Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) about it, so the verse of Tayammum was revealed." Usaid bin Hudair RA said to `Aisha, "May Allah reward you. By Allah, whenever anything happened which you did not like, Allah brought good for you and for the Muslims in that." Re: Hadeeth of the day

Narrated `Abdullah bin Zaid RA: The Prophet (peace be upon him) went towards the Musalla and invoked Allah for rain. He faced the Qibla and wore his cloak inside out, and offered two rak`at. (Bukhari - Vol. 2, Book 17, Hadith 125)

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

    Narrated Abu Huraira ():

Allah's Messenger () said, "Satan comes to one of you and says, 'Who created so-and-so?' till he says, 'Who has created your Lord?' So, when he inspires such a question, one should seek refuge with Allah and give up such thoughts."
