    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    Narrated Abu Burda (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

From his father from his grandfather that the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi
Wa Sallam) said, "Every Muslim has to give in charity." The people asked,
"O Allah's Prophet! If someone has nothing to give, what will he do?" He
said, "He should work with his hands and benefit himself and also give in
    charity (from what he earns)."

The people further asked, "If he cannot find
    even that?"

He replied, "He should help the needy who appeal for help."
Then the people asked, "If he cannot do that?" He replied, "Then he should
perform good deeds and keep away from evil deeds and this will be regarded
    as charitable deeds."

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

When Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) questioned someone regarding their name and the name was a good name, the [happiness] would be visible on Nabi’s (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) face. If the name was not [a good name] he would dislike it. When Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would go to a town he would enquire regarding its name. If the name was good, he would become happy and if it [was not good] the [displeasure] would be seen on his face.

    Aslaam o alikum.
Narrated Umar bin Al-Khattab: I heard Allah’s Apostle saying, “The reward of deeds dwepends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for.”

The righteous will pass away, one by one until only the dregs remain like the dregs/husks of barley or dates and Allah will not show any concern about them at all

Hadhrat Waathila bin Asqaa (Radhiallahu Anhu) reports that on one occasion a Sahaabi came and seated himself beside Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) while Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) was (seated) in the Musjid. Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) immediately moved a little from his place (in order that the Sahaabi be comfortable). The Sahaabi exclaimed: “O Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), there is sufficient place for me to sit (i.e. There was no need for you, who is the Imaam of the Ambiyaa and the greatest of Allah Ta’ala’s creation, to take the trouble to move for me).” Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) replied: “It is the right that a Muslim owes his brother that when he sees him, (out of consideration) he should move a little for him (i.e. to make him comfortable).” (Mishkaat)

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

Narrated Anas (May Allah be pleased with him): the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “My Lord says, 'If My slave comes nearer to me for a span, I go nearer to him for a cubit; and if he comes nearer to Me for a cubit, I go nearer to him for the span of outstretched arms; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.”

Hadhrat Abdullah bin Abbaas (Radhiyallahu Anhuma) reports that on one occasion Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) was asked: “Which person is the best to be taken as an associate (and friend)?” Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) replied: “The one who, whenever you see him, you are reminded of Allah Ta’ala; the one who, when he speaks, his speech causes your knowledge and understanding of Deen to increase; and the one whose actions creates the awareness and reminds you of the Aakhirat.”
