    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The likeness of one who comes early to prayer is that of one who sacrificed a camel, then the one who comes after him is like one who sacrificed a cow, then the one who comes after him is like one who sacrificed a ram, then the one who comes after him is like one who sacrificed a chicken, then the one who comes after him is like one who sacrificed an egg."

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    18th Rajab 1439 (4th April 2018)

    Narrated Ibn Abbas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) performed Tawaf (of the
Kaba) ending a camel (at that time the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa

It was narrated from Ibn Umm Maktum (RA) that he said: "0 Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), there are many (dangerous) pests and wild animals in Al-Madinah." He said: "Can you hear (the words) 'Come prayer, come to prosperity'?" He said "Yes." He said: "Then be quick to respond," and he did not grant him a dispensation.

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

At the completion of the du‘aa, one should say Aameen.

Abu Musabbih Al-Maqraaiy relates, “On one occasion, we were seated by Hazrat Abu Zuhayr An-Numayri (radhiyallahu ‘anhu), who was from amongst the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu ‘anhum). He was most eloquent in speech. When anyone amongst us used to engage in du‘aa, he would say, ‘Seal the du‘aa with Aameen, for Aameen is like a stamp on the paper.’ He then said further, ‘Should I not inform you regarding this? One night, we came out with Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) and came across a person who was fervently engaged in du‘aa. Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) stopped to listen to him and said, “If he seals his du‘aa, he will make Jannah binding for him.” One of the people asked, “How should he seal it (his du‘aa)?” Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) replied, “He should seal it with Ameen. If he seals it with Aameen, he has made Jannah binding for him.” The one who had asked Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) went up to the person and said, “O so and so, seal your du‘aa with Aameen and accept the glad tidings (of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam)).”

After one’s du‘aa, one should recite durood shareef at the end.

عن عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه قال إن الدعاء موقوف بين السماء والأرض لا يصعد منه شيء حتى تصلي على نبيك صلى الله عليه وسلم )سنن الترمذي #486(

Hazrat ‘Umar (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) narrates, “Du‘aas remain suspended between the heavens and the Earth. It does not proceed towards the heavens as long as Durood on Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) has not been recited (i.e. there is no guarantee for its acceptance).”

Narrated `Abdullah bin Buhaina (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) once led us in a prayer and offered two rak`at and got up (for the third rak`a) without sitting (after the second rak`a). The people also got up with him, and when he was about to finish his prayer, we waited for him to finish the prayer with Taslim but he said Takbir before Taslim and performed two prostrations while sitting and then finished the prayer with Taslim.

    Narrated `Abdullah bin Masud:

I asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! What is the best deed?" He replied, "To offer the prayers at their early stated fixed times." I asked, "What is next in goodness?" He replied, "To be good and dutiful to your parents." I further asked, what is next in goodness?" He replied, "To participate in Jihad in Allah's Cause." I did not ask Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) anymore and if I had asked him more, he would have told me more.

    Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said:
“There is no worry like the worry of debt”

    (Majma‘uz Zawaaid #6641)

Once Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) cautioned the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu ‘anhum): “Do not put yourself into a state of alarm.” The Sahaabah (radhiyallahu ‘anhum) asked: “And how is that possible.” Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) replied: “Through debt.”

عن عبد الله عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال البادئ بالسلام بريء من الكبر )شعب الإيمان #8407(

Hazrat ‘Abdullah bin Mas‘ood (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “The one who hastens to make salaam first (it is a sign that he) is free from pride.”

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

    Narrated Anas bin Malik:

A group of three men came to the houses of the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) asking how the Prophet (ﷺ) worshiped (Allah), and when they were informed about that, they considered their worship insufficient and said, "Where are we from the Prophet (ﷺ) as his past and future sins have been forgiven. " Then one of them said, "I will offer the prayer through the night forever." The other said, "I will fast through the year and will not break my fast." The third said, "I will keep away from the women and will not marry forever." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came to them and said, "Are you the same people who said so-and-so? By Allah, I am more submissive to Allah and more afraid of Him than you; yet I fast and break my fast, I do sleep and I also marry women.

Said bin Abi Maryam, told us Mohammed bin Jaafar, told us Hamid bin Abi Hamid long, that he heard Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him says three came to the homes of the spouses of the Prophet peace be upon him ask about the worship of the Prophet peace be upon him when they told As if they were saying, "Where are we from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) who forgave him what he has done?" I never night. I said another fast age, nor fast. And another said, I keep away from women and never get married. The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him he said "You who said such and such, and God, I am afraid of God and Iqakkm for him, but I fast and break, and pray and Iqr and marry women, who wanted my year is not me .
