    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

It was narrated from 'A'idh bin 'Amr (RA) that: a man came to the prophet and asked him and he gave him, and when he placed his foot on the threshold the Messenger of Allah said: "If you knew how bad begging is, no one would go to anyone else and ask him for anything."

Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas’ood (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Whichever Muslim hears the azaan being called out, and replies to the takbeer of the muazzin by reciting takbeer, and replies to the shahaadah of the muazzin by reciting shahaadah, and thereafter he recites the following duaa, he will be granted the intercession of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) on the day of Qiyaamah:

    اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَاجْعَلْ فِي الْأَعْلَيْنَ دَرَجَتَهُ، وَفِي الْمُصْطَفَيْنَ مَحَبَّتَهُ، وَفِي الْمُقَرَّبِينَ ذِكْرَهُ

It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah b. Mas'ud (RA) that Waki told (him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) had observed and Ibn Numair asserted: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying: He who dies associating anything with Allah would enter the Fire (of Hell). Abu Abdillah Al Jadali reports, I asked Sayyidah 'Aaishah (radiyallahu 'anha) about the character of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam).
    'Aaishah (radiyallahu 'anha) said,

"The Prophet was not indecent, he was not obscene, he would not shout in the markets, and he would not respond to an evil deed with an evil deed, but rather he would pardon and overlook."

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the people are safe, and the believer is the one from whom the people's lives and wealth are safe."

    (Sunan an-Nasa'I, Book 47, Hadith 11)
