Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:
I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--
(1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),
(2) to follow funeral processions,
(3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),
(4) to return greetings,
(5) to help the oppressed,
(6) to accept invitations,
(7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Narrated `Ali (RA): I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The best of the world's women is Mary (at her lifetime), and the best of the world's women is Khadija (at her lifetime).
It was narrated from 'Umar (RA), meaning, from his father, his grandfather 'Umar, that: He gave a horse in charity at the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), then he saw its owner selling it for a low price. He went to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and asked him about that, and he said: “Do not buy what you gave in charity.”
Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA) said: “Allah’s Messenger said (Allah bless him and give him peace): ‘Do not extol me as the Christians extolled [Jesus] the son of Mary. I am merely a servant,’ so say: '[He is] Allah’s servant and His Messenger.’”
(Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah 329, Book 47, Hadith 1)
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported many ahadith from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and one is that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: I am most close to Jesus, son of Mary, among the whole of mankind in this worldly life and the next life. They said: Allah's Messenger how is it? Thereupon he said: Prophets are brothers in faith, having different mothers. Their religion is, however, one and there is no Apostle between us (between I and Jesus Christ).
It was narrated that Umm Salamah (RA) said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon Abu Salamah (after he had died), and his eyes were wide open. He closed his eyes, then he said: ‘When the soul is taken, the sight follows it.’”
Narrated Anas (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "From among the portents of the Hour are (the following):
1. Religious knowledge will be taken away (by the death of Religious learned men).
2. (Religious) ignorance will prevail.
3. Drinking of Alcoholic drinks (will be very common).
4. There will be prevalence of open illegal sexual intercourse.
On the authority of Abu Harayrah (RA) from the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said: Spend (on charity), O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you. It was related by al-Bukhari (also by Muslim).
It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah (RA) that he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: “When a man enters his house, and remembers Allah when he enters and when he eats, Satan says: ‘You have no place to stay and no supper.’ If he enters his house and does not remember Allah upon entering, Satan says: ‘You have found a place to stay.’ And if he does not remember Allah when he eats, (Satan) says: ‘You have found a place to stay and supper.’”
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying: He who called (people) to righteousness, there would be reward (assured) for him like the rewards of those who adhered to it, without their rewards being diminished in any respect. And he who called (people) to error, he shall have to carry (the burden) of its sin, like those who committed it, without their sins being diminished in any respect.
Narrated `Imran (RA): I said, "O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him)! Why should a doer (people) try to do good deeds?' The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Everybody will find easy to do such deeds as will lead him to his destined place for which he has been created.'
Narrated Ibn `Umar (RA): While `Umar bin Al-Khattab (RA) was standing and delivering the sermon on a Friday, one of the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him), who was one of the foremost Muhajirs (emigrants) came. `Umar (RA) said to him, "What is the time now?" He replied, "I was busy and could not go back to my house till I heard the Adhan. I did not perform more than the ablution." Thereupon `Umar (RA) said to him, "Did you perform only the ablution although you know that Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) used to order us to take a bath (on Fridays)?"
Aisha (RA) said: "Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) would not speak on and on the way you do. Rather, he would pause periodically, so that those who sat with him would remember what he said.”
(Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah 222, Book 33, Hadith 1)
Ibn ’Umar (RA) narrated, ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) never failed to say these words in the morning and the evening: “O Allah! I ask you for pardon and well-being in my religious and worldly affairs, and my family and my wealth. O Allah! Cover my weaknesses and set at ease my dismay. O Allah! Preserve me from the front and from behind and on my right and on my left and from above, and I seek refuge with you lest I be swallowed up by the earth.”
Ibn Abbas (RA) said: "Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) emerged from the toilet, whereupon the meal was presented to him and they said: 'Should we not bring you water for the minor ritual ablution?' He replied: 'I have only been commanded to perform the minor ritual ablution when I get ready for the ritual prayer'.”

Miqdam bin Madikarib (RA) said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘A human being fills no worse vessel than his stomach. It is sufficient for a human being to eat a few mouthfuls to keep his spine straight. But if he must (fill it), then one third of food, one third for drink and one third for air.’”
Narrated Salman Al-Farsi (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Anyone who takes a bath on Friday and cleans himself as much as he can and puts oil (on his hair) or scents himself; and then proceeds for the prayer and does not force his way between two persons (assembled in the mosque for the Friday prayer), and prays as much as is written for him and remains quiet when the Imam delivers the Khutba, all his sins in between the present and the last Friday will be forgiven."
Hakim bin Mu'awiyah (RA) narrated from his father, that the Prophet (SAW) said: "Indeed in Paradise there is a sea of water, and a sea of honey, and a sea of milk, and a sea of wine, then the rivers shall split off afterwards."
Narrated Ibn `Umar (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A woman entered the (Hell) Fire because of a cat which she had tied, neither giving it food nor setting it free to eat from the vermin of the earth."
