Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, said:--
"The strong man is not the one who wrestles, but the strong man
is in fact the one who controls himself in a fit of rage." [Bukhari, Muslim, Riyad-us-Saliheen, chapter 75].
Usually, people are impressed by physical power... but real strength is in that person who keeps his/her anger under control when it is aroused. Are strong from that perspective? Try to be.

I used to think the angry grr grr protective type men were stronger but now I'm realising it's much harder to keep quiet when someone has riled u up so much so they must be stronger

Martial Arts, I love - but I have no idea about the Marital Arts - I've been in more fights than I care to remember, not all of them I came off pretty either - but back down? That has always been my problem. can't do it... although, nowadays I don't even get riled up the way I used to, thicker skin and all that I guess. Most days, i'm good, but some days I itch to hit a kick bag or something. Then I see that piece of A4 paper lying on my desk and the blutack, and string is also on the desk... and so, I tell my self "punching through paper is not about strength, but about technique and speed."
