As-Salaam alaikum,
Anas Ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, said :--
"Allah has His own people among
mankind." They said :"O Messenger of
Allah, who are they?" He said, "They are
the people of the Qur'an, the people of
Allah and those who are closest to Him".
(Ibn Majah, 215)
In another hadith, Sayyada A'isha, may Allah be pleased with her, reported that the Prophet, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, said :--
"The one who recites the Qur'an skillfully will be in the company of the Noble and Righteous messenger-angels and the one who reads the Qur'an, but suffers and finds it difficult, receives a double reward."
(Sahih Muslim, 789)
