This reminds me of a story I read somewhere about a wise old man who was granted a wish from the ruler of the land to ask for whatever he wanted. He said he does not wish for much...just take a chessboard and put a rice grain in the first square and two in the second and four in the third and so forth. The king laughs and says "is that all you WANT??". He asks his minister to carry out the task. To their horror they realize that they don't have that much rice in their whole kingdom !!

if one grain of rice weighs 0.028 grams
then we get total of ((1.845*10^19)*0.028)/1000000 = 516 508 834 064 tonnes
poor king. he totally deserved it though cause that guy was trying to get food for his villiage (i think)

WOW !! If we assume that on an average a single person consumes 10 kg of rice every month - that figure could feed 51,650,883,406,400 people for a month !! I would imagine the earth didn't even produce that much rice since Adam alaihissalam.

How can you throw a ball as hard as you can and have it come back to you, even if it doesn't bounce off anything? There is nothing attached to it, and no one else catches or throws it back to you.

OK...heres a tough one. Use your mathematical skills for this one.
A shopkeeper has an old-style scale...you know the type where you put some known weight one one side and the stuff you want to weigh on the other side. This guy has only four pieces of weights. With these four he can weigh from 1 kg to 40 kg (no grams please).
Supposing he wants to weigh 35 kg or 8 kg or whatever....he can do it using only these four weights. Its not necessary to use ALL of them at the same time though.

Is it insha'Allah 10, 20, 30 and 40? or 5, 7, 12 and 15 (=39)?
In that case how will he weigh anything less than 5 kg?? The idea is to be able to weigh from 1 to 40 kg. I will give you a hint: actually this is the way they weigh using these kind of scales....You can put some of those weight pieces along with the stuff you want to weigh - for balance.
