i hope every one will enjoy these riddles
They are not really mine but some of them are
i got looooads so i thought i will start a thread of riddles.
Now lets see...........where shall i start.........
lets start with one of my riddles.......
Once me and my dad was on our way to school in Kuwait.
He asked me that........
I have some apples in my right hand and some in the left hand. Now, if I minus an apple from my left hand and add it to my right hand, then both of my hands has equal no. of apples. And if I minus an apple from my right hand and add it to my left hand, then my left hand contains double the no. of apples as in my right hand. How many apples do I have in each of the hands?
i was verrrrry confused. i went to school and asked my friends but none of them knew the answer. i asked everyone i knew but none of them could get it. but then i came home and asked him for the answer and he told me.........Well i was very small at that time anyway
So give this riddle some tries and i will be back with another brainteasing one insha'allah. But my first 21 riddles are going to be on Maths .
Here's one in the meantime:
Its is a nice sunny afternoon and a hunter wearing a brown hat and blue (rather old) socks spots 3 nice birds in a fine tree, he shoots down one of them...how many left?
none left.
because if you shoot one the others are going to fly away.
nxt riddle.......
You are locked inside of a room, the walls, ceiling, and floor are 20 foot thick concrete. There are no doors, windows, trap-doors, or anything. The only other things in the room are an axe and a table. How do you get out?
you know i dont like these "how many left" riddles because there is always a twist to the answer!
its never a mathematical logic. :confused:
see in this case the real answer would be 2 but i know its not :mad:
ok i will say none are left...... becuse the other 2 flew away?
plz say its rite i was trying to think of a possible twist.
i think thats right cuz i posted the same answer without looking at this post
Sr 3washey you were right Masha'Allaah - I was only saying that this answer is more common sense than some of the others, hence it came out quickly! I only added the extra details just to add some meat onto it lol.
Tagrid:
You chop the table into half. 2 halves make a "hole"....there's your exit

hey you!! how did you get that?
nxt............ A man came to town on Friday and two day's later left on Friday. How can this be?
zAK, you know that 1/2 + 1/2 = 1.
Therefore 2 halves make a whole i.e. 1.
whole = hole.
Its just playing with words.

Only one person is going to St. Ives since he only MET all those ppl on the way.
Btw, that halves one is probably one of the oldest ones I know!
nxt riddle........ A man while looking at a photograph said, Brothers and sisters have I none. Tht man's father is my father's son." Who was the person in the photograph?
nxt riddle........ A man while looking at a photograph said, Brothers and sisters have I none. Tht man's father is my father's son." Who was the person in the photograph?
Wassalam
:sister:
it is his nephew
cus ur nephew's dad is the son of your dad. i.e you are his (that man's father) brother and he has a son therefore the son in the photo is your nephew.
however! you stated that he dont have a bro so therefore he must have a half brother for my theory/answer to work.
Someone said to the Prophet, "Pray to God against the idolaters and curse them." The Prophet replied, "I have been sent to show mercy and have not been sent to curse." (Muslim)
Ohhhh yes yes yes i had to talk it over and out loud....
yes its HIMself he is talking about himself! comeon it has to be ... ok i am getting confused... but i say he is talking about himself
ok lets see break it down. lets just say/assum the right answer is son.
but it has a flaw.
Firstly though, lets see whats right about it. If its his son in the pic, then the man in the pic father is in fact himself (the man who is looking at the pic). So then he'd basically be saying I am my fathers son, which makes perfect sense in a way.
But the flaw i see in it, is it fails to explain why he said brothers and sisters have i none. If it was his brother in the picture, it couldnt be right either, because his brothers father is his father, but his father is not his fathers son. How could man be his own father? or his own son?, Therefore this answer completely chops a line out of the riddle.
now let me explain my answer as to why it should be himself.
this man's father is my father's son->
this mans father = my father's son
-> substitute son as the answer
(your son)'s father = my father's son
-> since my son's father is me
me = my father's son
-> and my father's son is me (or my brother)
me = me
yes 90% of the time this is the right answer but considering what i said cant be the right answer everone has heard this riddle before, and thats why i am saying it cant be and looking for another altrenative answer. like i said there is a flaw. in the answer being his son. so whoever says "Son" is saying this because we were told this was the right answer. but if whoever said its "Son" thorugh reason, i have just proven a flaw.
yes ur right u caught me i was trying to cause confuion , i dont care for this riddle anymore since i have heard it many times before and the answer is always "Son" so i guess today i refused to accept it as answer.
and tried to find an error. and i did..... but whatever.... fogettaboutit
