ok, so if it takes 3 secs to strike 3? does that mean it takes 3 secs to strike every hour? or does it increase in amount of how long it does actually take to strike any hour? so therefore we must work that out? but how can we, if it doesnt giv us clue, ummmm, oh my god i think ive just confused myself!!!!!!
im stressed .....hold up ill be back , let me re read the question
lool Shorty X your first post made me laugh...yeah I guessed 7 too...is that right?
i figured if it takes 3 seconds to strike 3...it would take one second to strike each one...idk how to explain it,i used simply variables in my head.lol.
1) If you do not go after what you want, you will never have it
2) If you don't ask, the answer will always be no.
3) If you do not step forward, you'll always be in the same place

hola
it is time, you can't count in numbers you have to count in intervals... (like how even though this is 2008, there have not been 2008 years since the birth of Christ... there have been 2007 years and 3 days).
it's 2 intervals for every 3 seconds so if you do the ratio it is 1.5 times the number of strikes you want to get to (7) minus one since it's an internval gives you 1.5(6) = 9.
watch out when you check it... don't forget to take into account that you start off with three... you do not start at three, otherwise you think you need a much higher number (18). that totally threw me off the first time and i chaned my answer... but it's wrong.
Well I am probably way of but if it stops striking three at 3 seconds past three; it will take another three hours fifty nine minutes and fifty seven seconds untill it starts to strike Seven
