Today there were heavy winds with rain in Makkah after Asr. We were sweating at Jumua. The climate suddenly changed at Asr time. Hope it's calm now, inshaAllah.

It says that Sheikh Sa'd Ghamidi has been appointed as an Imaam for Salaatut Taraweeh in Masjidun Nabawi and he will begin leading from the third night!!!!!!!!! Subhanallah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing things happen in Ramadaan!

I would like to remind you all where you got the first news about Sa'd Al Ghamidi from :P moi <-- about a month ago lol.. sorry just had to get that out there.
Also Sheikh Maher Almuaiqly was great today, he got the difficult part of Surah Albaqarah and his recitation and du3aa2 were awesome. Sheikh Shuraim is at his best during tahajjud.. looking forward to that already
^yup we can look forward to his tahajjud. this was one of shuraim's plainest recitations, i was kinda disappointed but it got better in the end rakats possible due to altered sound effects, it sounded cool anyway. but i was satisfied that this was the first half of the juz 2, something he has been reciting 'beyond everything' for the last few years in tahajjud. he will make up for it then inshAllah.
lets not expect everything from last year. The pressure is always in the begining. Inshallah a few days and it will be great as ever. The Sheikhs have a great responsibility, imagine one of us leading. Get the shivers? Exactly. Think of yourself reciting to that many people live

Btw, I was told that Sh. Haani ar-Rifaa'i was once scheduled to lead at-Taraweeh at the Haram.

Malaak, Sheikh Shuraim's recitation was so beautiful, not plain at all.
Saifur-Rahmaan, Sheikh Hani Rifaa'ee? would have been nice to hear him read in haram.
zAk, i really don't know who will lead with Sheikh Sa'd Ghamidi and who will do the witr salaah. We just have to wait for tonight... emmm.. What time is Madeenah Isha
