    Shape of Space

    Report bad ads?

    Hello,

How is everyone doing? Hope all is well.

I have a few questions that I find interesting.

    1. What is the shape of space? If assuming, space is infinitely large.

If space is infinite, then it cannot have an enclosed shape, such as a circle, square, triangle, etc. It also cannot be just a straight line.

Then what shape could it be?

Like you already said yourself...it has no shape.
It is like saying "what shape is water?"
if you put it in a glas, then it gets the shape of that glas...if you pour it in a bottle, then the shape changes into the shape of the bottle.

What shape is a sea? which sea?

First of all...we do not know whether space is infinite or not. Only Allah knows. We just cant see the end of it...besides...define "the end of space"
is it the point where the last piece of matter floats and beyond that there is only the void and nothing else?
or is it a border where the void ends and something else starts (the container for the space)?

Trying to understand infinity in terms of time I think is the more interesting question. We are here today, so when you extrapolate back, something either had no beginning, or something did not come from anything. Both options defy logic and reason, but one had to happen. With the complexity of life we see today, I can't see how this could happen unless it was guided by God.

As to the shape of the universe, I think Umit gave a good answer, it's like the shape of water, but who knows.

In the spirit of searching for a greatest meaning of 'One God'.
