Thumbs up Unique Muslim Programmer Introduction

    Report bad ads?

    Dear Brothers and sisters,

I am a unique bother in the sense that I am not like most people on this forum. When I learn a lesson/tactic/knowledge etc. I try to make use of it for both worlds in this world and the next. I try killing atleast 2 birds with a single stone, if not more, as time and life is short.

Anyway, the muslim world is in a mess. It is in the shackles of the West through usuary.
Prices of accommodations are so high for both rental and buying that muslims nowadays have learnt to rely on interest fixed loans. Thus earning haram and getting their worshippings unaccepted. But if we get together as small groups then we can help each other out and no one has to depend on usuary. No, I don't mean we give each other hand-out. I mean we find ways to make halal income both online and offline and form companies, organisations, clubs, etc.
To start-off with, I am a student programmer. so, how am I trying to kill 2 birds (atleast) with 1 stone nowadays? Well, the very first thing I did was build a web browser that tries helping muslims earn money online so muslims don't have to wage slave for the non-muslim or hypocrite muslims for that matter. The more independant you are financially the more control you have of your religion. No employer, meaning no non-muslim employer can now sneer at you for your religious looks or emotionally blackmail you to cut-off your beard or take of your hijab.
Well, that is my introduction. A student programmer who wishes to build computer softwares, webites and mobile apps and mobile game apps to aid muslim user make enough money online to be financially free from the 9-5 wage slavery that influences you away from your religion.
Checkout my threads for my softwares. They are free. Checkout the youtube channel of "Bangali Beta". for the softwares.

    Thank you

    Re: Unique Muslim Programmer Introduction

I am not Muslim but I absolutely wish you the best of luck. The problem that you describe doesn't just apply to Muslims, it applies to all moral people. The West has become very corrupt and tries to enslave everyone as an employee for life to serve the financial elite. The only way to break this is, as you say, to organize into small groups. I follow the Old Testament and I am part of a group based on this that has 2 startups under development. I am a programmer and our group develops web businesses. Several of us, including me, are successful business people but we are tired of the dishonesty in the mainstream business world, so we would rather work in a religious group where there is trust.

To have trust, one must make sure that all members of the group meet some religious standards. In our case, we chose 5 standards based on the Old Testament. It isn't enough for a person to claim to be religious, they must prove it by their actions. Sunni Islam also happens to have a set of 5 standards, their five pillars of Islam, that could work. But whatever standards you choose, it is critical to have standards to make sure that all members of the group have a shared commitment to their religion.

If you do go forward with organizing a group, maybe our groups could cooperate. For example, I have developed hosting platform for dynamic websites here:

    http://luan.luanhost.com/

We use this for developing our websites. We could share tools between our groups and help each other in other ways.

For the vast majority of people, it is unfortunate that the only reason why they are honest, is because they are kept honest. Some people are indeed honest because they want to be, but those are few and far between.

I just got baffled with what these guys have just done: https://steemit.com.

The site funds blog post authors by redirecting part of their steem currency mining fee to them, based on user upvotes. You would probably think that this is totally ridiculous? It probably is, and I also at first thought that it was, until I looked at the 84 million dollars of their capitalization (http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/steem). They have created almost 100 million dollars in value in less than 3 months time. They have done what reddit.com never managed to do. In fact, if reddit.com still don't get it now, they will never get it.

Imagine creating an "islamit" blogging site, where the authors would get paid by the "islamit" cryptocurrency? In 6 months time, it would probably have 1+ billion dollars in capitalization. It would be the biggest publishing powerhouse in Islam ...

With Islam's 1.5+ billion head count, I keep dancing in circles around it, without knowing what exactly to do, but at the same time I just know that there must be some very big stuff that you can do with that. It should be possible to preside over something absolutely spectacular. The steemit guys pulled it off with only 70 000 users. Can you imagine what would be possible with the kind of numbers in Islam?

    Re: Unique Muslim Programmer Introduction

    kritikvernunft,

I really don't understand the steemit site as I'm not too good with social networks since I hardly socialise online (facebook, twitter, youtube, digg, reddit, pinterest, etc.). I just getting into twitter, facebook and youtube just to promote my free tools to make every human being on the face of the earth become selfemployed and self sufficient so they don't wage slave for others. That's all about it.
How is steemit different from reddit ?

I do have some social network site ideas myself which I reckon will make every member money. But I notice that, most people of this world and whine and complain about "no money", "no income", etc. but when you give them FREE sOLUTIONs on a plate they become either arrogant or ignorant and ignore your solutions. I reckon no one would signup to my social network even if it can provide them ways to make a living online. Majority of muslims and non-muslims alike nowadays are all the same: Arrogant & ignorant. Hardly any worthy gems left in this world like you and me and a handful, I'm afraid.

I think its not a good behaviour to show off any good deed that you are doing or that you did in the past. Correct me if i am wrong. This doesn't mean that you can't promote your good software. But you don't have to show off the good intention that you have on it to the public.

    Nah,

I was not showing off. If I was, I'd be showing my picture and giving out my personal details for publicity to become a celebrity.
I was just trying to influence Muslims to be like me by building a method that enables you to kill 2 birds with 1 stone (1. Earn money in this life and save yourself from wage slavery where your employer controls you away from your Religion; 2. Promote Islaam and earn in the next life).

If I demonstrate the good 2 intentions behind the software then thar would attract users and free them from slavery. Hopefully. And, I won't forget to say "Inshaa Allaah". Anyway, the softwares are offline now to be updated.
