    Speakers:



    Shaykh Zahir Mahmood

    Shaykh Zahir Mahmood was born in England and has gained licences to teach (Ijaazas) in many Islamic Sciences including Quran, Jurisprudence (Fiqh) and Traditions (Hadith) of The Prophet (Peace be upon him) from various Shuyukh.

    Following the completion of his formal state education at the age of 16, he enrolled at Dar al-Uloom al-Arabiyya al-Islamiyya, Bury, where he initiated his studies of the Alimiya course. Thereafter, he studied 3 years in the prestigious seat of learning al-Jamia al-Islamiyya, Karachi, Pakistan.

    He went on to complete his Alimiya course at the pioneering Dar al-Uloom Newcastle, South Africa, which has since been used as a template for other seats of learning in the region. Here, the Shaykh’s studies included a detailed analysis of Sahih al-Bukhari with the renowned Scholar Shaykh Qasim Seema.

    Returning back to the UK, he gained a BA in Applied Theological Studies from the University of Birmingham and taught the Alimiya course at Madina al-Uloom Kidderminster for a subsequent 2 years. He also translated part of the classical Hanafi text of Fiqh, al-Shurunbulali’s Nur al-Idah in English.

    For the past 6 years, he has been a Khateeb (preacher) at one of Birmingham’s largest Masjids, Jamia Masjid in Aston. From this base, he has taught many workshops, including Arabic at various levels and Seerah (The Life of The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and also delivered countless talks about the Sahabah (Companions of The Prophet (Peace be upon him). He has endeavoured to reach out to the youth both locally and nationally by travelling throughout the country delivering talks and lectures in order to motivate the Muslim masses to become the best of people.



    Shaykh Saad Nomani

    Shaykh Saad Nomani, also known as Sheikh Muhammad Saad Nomani Madani s/o Shahid Khalil Nomani, is a reciter of the Qur'an who is known for his unique ability to render the recitation of the Holy Quran in manner recited by many world famous reciters, or Qurra’, of the world. A Qari is one who recites verses or chapters from the Qur'an in a rhythmic manner under strict rules of articulation and recitation. Nomani has been gifted with the talent to read in more than 85 qaris and imams including the imams of the two Holy Mosques of the Muslim world in Makkah and Madinah. He is also a host of many Islamic programmes on QTV (ARY) and the Geo TV of Pakistan.
    Among his tutors are Shaikh Muhammad Abdul Majed Zakir (Senior Qari from Riyadh and Ustaad of many world renowned Quraa, including Sheikh Abdur Rahman Al Sudais and Sheikh Ali Jaber, Shaikh Khaleel Abdur Rahman Al Qari' (Senior Qari from Madinah and Ustaad of World renowned Quraa incl. Sheikh Subaiyyel and Sheikh M. Ayoob, Sheikh Shafiq bin Sulaiman Al Qazi, Sheikh Muhammad Ayub]] (ex-guest Imam of Al-Masjid al-Nabawi),Sheikh Ali Al Huzaifi ( Imam of Al-Masjid al-Nabawi), and Sheikh Muhammad Khalil (Imam of Masjid-e-Quba) Madinah Munawwarah.
    Qari Saad Nomani is from the progeny of Imam Abu Hanifah, one of the four Imams of Ahlussunnah waljama'ah, and is the 26th in the generation. Abu Hanifah R.A.'s real name was Noman, hence the surname of Nomani / Nomani.

    Shaykh Habib Ali Jifri- Exclusive Video Message
    Habib Ali al-Jifri was born into a family of noble lineage extending in an unbroken chain to Imam Hussain, may Allah be pleased with him, grandson of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
    Habib Ali is from the majestic city of Tarim in Southern Yemen. Nestled in the ancient valley of Hadramawt, Tarim has been a centre of learning and spirituality for centuries. Habib Ali received a classical Islamic education from the illustrious scholars of Hadramawt, embodying a methodology which crystallizes the middle way of Islam, Islamic jurisprudence, a respect for the differences between jurists, and a spiritual education drawn from the Qur'an and the Sunnah.
    Habib Ali is Founder of the ‘Tabah Foundations for Islamic Studies and Research’ based in the United Arab Emirates. He is also a lecturer at Dar al Mustafa, Tarim, an educational institute established for the study of traditional Islamic sciences. Habib Ali is continually invited to lecture in many countries across the globe and appears regularly on a variety of network television and radio programs.

    Ustadh Abu Aaliya

    Ustadh Abu Aaliya is the director of Jawziyyah Institute in London. He has been engaged in delivering dawah and community work for over 20 years holding talks, circles and seminars in universities, Mosques and Islamic centres across the UK and abroad. He has studied with various scholars in particular Sheikh Abdullah Al Farsi and Sheikh 'Abd Al-Rahman Al-Luwayhiq. He is well versed in the Arabic language and hasbeen a prolific writer for many years having translated numerousscholarly works and books from Arabic to English such as Tenets of Faith, The Ideological Attack, Etiquettes of Differing, The Exquisite Pearl, Fadl 'Ilm al-Salaf (Virtue of Knowledge of the Predecessors) of Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali, and Bidâyat al-Sul fî Tafdîl ar-Rasul (Virtues and Status of the Prophet [pbuh]) of al-'Izz ibn 'Abd as-Salâm. Also currently Abu Aaliyah teaches and serves as one of the Jummah Khateeb's in Masjid al Tawhid in East London.
