Question: One if someone came upto you and stated; 'Whats the point of following the Sunnah, when we've got the Quran? After all, isn't the Quran Allahs' own Speach? That is enough for us to follow!'...What would you say to them and what evidence will you provide to advise them?
Allah says in the Quran; to follow Rasoolullah (the sunnah). To deny it; means denying the Quran.
(3:31-32) Say, [O Muhammad], "If you should love Allah , then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." Say, "Obey Allah and the Messenger." But if they turn away - then indeed, Allah does not like the disbelievers.
