    Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan, the instructor for Story Night, describes the course as follows;

    The Qur’an has remarkable beauty from countless perspectives but one that has always really captured my curiosity is the incredible style of Divine story telling. Many books are written about the stories of the prophets (may Allah’s peace be upon them all). Such books tell the accounts of these great men based on authentic sources. Excerpts from various Surahs, ahadeeth and narrations come together to paint a thorough chronological picture. Is there more to these stories than the chronology of events. Allah the Most High chose to tell parts of Ibrahim’s (AS) account in one surah, parts in another and parts in yet another. Why did He do that? Is there something about the way Allah Himself tells the story that we are missing out on? An attempt to answer this question is what Story Night is all about. Its not just about what the story is, its about how Allah tells it. In this Friday evening event, I hope to share one of my favorite examples of Qur’anic story telling. I won’t tell you which one though. And those of you that have already taken it, don’t spoil the surprise for others!

    I plan on travelling to the locations mentioned below in the coming year before Ramadhan to present Story Night, insha Allah. I hope you can make it to one of them. Given my local obligations in Dallas I’m not able to travel nearly as much as I once did so I hope to see as many of you face to face as possible this coming year through this program. One last thing; If teaching material passes two tests, I consider it worth traveling the country with it. Firstly, am I personally mesmerized by the lessons I am to teach and secondly, did my children find it engaging enough to want me to continue with them night after night at bedtime. Story night passes these two tests so I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I the kids have
