Tafseer Program: 2 yr Diploma Program for Women (free)

Program Outline:

Tafseer Program is a diploma program for students who wish to learn the translation and commentary of the entire Quran. The course is based on authentic Hadith, classical sources of scholarly tafseer, and the lives and teachings of the virtuous believers who were the embodiment of the Quran. The purpose behind TP is to nourish our heartfelt connection with Allah SWT and that can be best done by reading and understanding the Word of Allah SWT. Tafseer Program is essential for anyone who wants to explore the depths of Quranic wisdom. It highlights the spiritual insights and practical advice in the Quran and helps students develop a strong bond of knowledge and practice.

Instructor's Profile:

Alimah Harime Hammad has received her B.Sc. in Social Sciences with Honors from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). She began her pursuit of classical Islamic learning at Zaynab Academy Lahore and has completed the Dars-e-Nizami curriculum of alimiyyah degree. Harime teaches Quran, Hadith, Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh and Usul al-Hadith, Arabic grammar and language, and Muslim history to university students, housewives, and young professional women.

Alimah Harime is a senior student of Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad db. and Shaykh Kamaluddin Ahmed db. She has spent over 10 years under the guidance of her teachers and has tutored hundreds of women. She has dedicatedly served as a principle instructor and coordinator in several online & onsite programs in Lahore and Islamabad. Harime has also designed curriculums for Tajweed courses, Tafseer programs, alimah degree, several certificate and short courses as well.
Harime now serves students in Islamabad, where she and her husband Shaykh Hammad Mahmood founded Hajirah Academy under the patronage of the honorable Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad db. Ustadhah Harime and her husband have been rigorously involved in the early education system based on love for Islamic values and practices and they have founded Maktab – an Islamic education school for kids in Islamabad.

Ustadhah Harime regularly delivers talks, conducts classes, and tutors women in Islamabad and Rawalpindi at private residences, colleges, and Hajirah Academy campus; moreover, ustadhah Harime counsels women on the path of tazkiyah (spirituality), islah (inner reform), and self management.
