That is short, but in terms of the number of words in an ayah, there is a shorter one.....
please expand hunni...the only 2 i can think of is wal-fajr (surat al-fajr), and allahus-samad (surat al-Ikhlaas)...and if thumma nathar isn't right and that's only 2 words, then they shortest one contains only 1 word and the only one ayah that contains 1 word comes to mind is nuon, but you say that isnt included...

please make dua that Allah grants me a good end (to my life). please make dua that Allah guides me.

Aww..sorry...
Wal fajr is three words: wa, al, fajr.
Thumma nazar is two
This ayah has one.
The word is a complete word, that has a meaning, it is a long word, though. It's possible the word may not be used in modern day Arabic.
Clue...something to do with a colour

Sis Nightingale was correct. It's mud'haammataan (Surah ar-Rahmaan, ayah 64). It's the only ayah in the Qur'aan composed of one complete, proper word. It means dark green, and it's grammatically dual.

They said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed Gog and Magog are [great] corrupters in the land. So may we assign for you an expenditure that you might make between us and them a barrier?"
