Lol, yeah there are a lot of similarities with Arabic and Somali in terms of the Alphabet. There also isn't a letter 'P' in the Somali language, so we would also say 'bebsi', etc. (unless they grew up in another country, like myself).
^ yehh we say that too "bebsi" lol
I saw tonns of somali's in Aden. Yemen, they run away from theyr country to yemen and they mostly beggars. some alsmot made me cry...
Yeah, there are a lot of Somalians in Yemen, especially Aden (since the distance by sea is less, so it's easier migrate), so the culture is very similar in Aden as well. I think that's why out of all the Arabs, you see Somalis inter-marry with Yemenis more. Because of the constant conflict in Somalia, most of the citizens have fled to almost anywhere you can think of.
Anyhoo... perhaps we should get back to the topic. Learning Somali. Is there anything else you would like to know sis?
Jazaakilaah sista Faizah yes the word x sounds like h in english or ح in arabic and the word c sounds a in english and in arabic it sounds ع
as sister Faizah said
e.g. in somali we write Cabdi and in english its Abdi
