    Well that could be the case. The Swahili I know (or the lack of it in my case) is spoken in Kenya, Mombassa.

    And how about this one: samaki akeoza msintoope, mtafote malimawo mkaooshe…..Lol, classic!

    I don't know anything.

    I had family living in Kenya and Nairobi but we are all in the UK now. I was born in the UK so I have no idea of the language.

    Does chai mean tea?

    Lol.. my grandma was saying it was something else.. I don't remember myself now. And we had a Kenyan teacher and when I said it to her, she was like no, tea is chai and I was like . lol

    I was born in the UK, never spoken it with anyone, not even learnt it. Well, I did learn bits and bobs from grandma, uncles and aunties ... but I've even forgotten that. ffended: lol

    I'm sure you know MORE than me because right now, I think I only know chai.
