But if you really want to learn somali, consider yourself lucky coz somali is read as it is writen... if somalis were to write eenglish for us, they would write 'poeple' as 'peepul' ...lol why we need to 'caablikate' thingz

'x' letter is 'ha' in alhamu-li-laahi...so we write it as (alXamdu li laah)
'c' letter is 'a' ' salaamu a'laykum...so we write it as (salaamu Calaykum)
If you can't pronounce aboowe, can you then say to a man who is older than yourself, athar or adhar or however its spelled.. Ya know, uncle.. That's the word I'm tryna spell.. 'Cause, I've been in a place where there was only somali's, so they were speaking somali all the time.. And I can't remember how aboowe sounds, so can I call him uncle? Sounds nicer than warya
