What are you most looking forward to in Jenna? (OP)
I thought I would start this (Inshah'Allah) relaxing discussion.
Now of course the greatest bliss would be to see the face of Allah before us in Jenna, so apart from that magnificent moment, what are you most looking forward to (Inshah'Allah we will all be in Jenna) in Jenna from Allah?
This is if Allah permits me into His Paradise Inshah'Allah.
I am most looking forward to the food and drink of Jenna since I love all sorts of food and drink (obviously Halal). Also I am most looking forward to the Houris and Market Place of Jenna. Subhanallah, there are too many things to mention. Well, thats me so far.
^^ there is no sleeping in Jenna, we'll be a different creation all together.. we won't be bound by the physical laws of earth nor its pleasures or woes.. I know it is difficult to wrap ones mind around that, we are only told of the best things of this world that we'd like but the word Jenna etymologically denotes that which is hidden from site, hence Jinoon or jinn, things that aren't clearly visible to the conscious mind..

Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens) will they enter, therein will they be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments there will be of silk (i.e. in Paradise).
34. And they will say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allâh, Who has removed from us (all) grief. Verily, our Lord is indeed Oft*Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (good deeds and to recompense).
35. Who, out of His Grace, has lodged us in a home that will last forever; there, toil will touch us not, nor weariness will touch us."
36. But those who disbelieve, for them will be the Fire of Hell. Neither it will have a complete killing effect on them so that they die, nor shall its torment be lightened for them. Thus do We requite every disbeliever!
37. Therein they will cry: "Our Lord! Bring us out, we shall do righteous good deeds, not (the evil deeds) that we used to do." (Allâh will reply): "Did We not give you lives long enough, so that whosoever would receive admonition, - could receive it? And the warner came to you? So taste you (the evil of your deeds). For the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong*doers, etc.) there is no helper."

I am not going to lie. I am most looking forward to the Hoor al 'ayn.
I want to see those "beautiful women" Allah promises us.
The thing about Allah is He knows everything and that includes how to make us happy.
And also, He can do everything that He wants to do. So put those together and He can
create you a woman so beautiful that looking at her tears will come down your eyes
because you will not believe what you see, and He can make that woman love you in return.....................well let's hope I get there.

Just thought I should bump up this amazing thread....
When I close my eyes and imagine about jannah I imagine a lovely house with a nice porch overlooking the most spectacular scenery with birds singing....no tensions...no deadlines to meet...you do the tasbeeh just for the pleasure of it....no jealousy....no taunting words....(to be continued.....)
And there is something else that I always think of...we will all(inshallaah ya rab) get to see all the mysteries of this world unravel - episode after episode I hope you understand what I mean... wink wink

To see my Lord to put my forehead on the ground before him humbly praising Him in total submission and thank Him for blessing such a sinful and weak servant and slave of Him with His Mercy and Generosity , to see the prophets and messengers specially habibi Muhammad Bin Abdillah(peace and blessings of Allah be upon them all) angels (peca ebe upon them all) Sahabah (may Allah be pleased with them all) scholars of Islam like Ibn Taymiyah ibn Al Qayyim Ibn Uthaymeen and all of them and all of my brothers and sisters here and everywhere around this world from mankind and jins...may Allah make this true...Ameeeeeeen
May Allah love you and make all of His creatures love you ,preserve you have mercy on you and protect you all ,your families friends and all the Ummah from all harms evil sins satan and torment of grave and hellfire and may Allah make you all happy always and for ever making all your dreams hopes wishes and prayers come true for your goodness and fill your hearts with Taqwa Iman His remembrance Qur`aan love the endless peace happiness and satisfaction and ease you lives opening all the doors of success and goodness for you and elevate your status in this life and in the hereafter and may Allah be pleased with you keep you in your best and make you pass the seraatul mustaqeem as an eye blink and entering the highest levels of the paradise without being reckoning with Rasool Allah peace and blessings of Allah be upon him in first group hand by hand with him and be in Al Firdaws with him ,his companions may Allah be pleased with them and all prophets , messengers and angels peace be upon them all and may Allah make you see His Al Mighty face and cover you with His Light and Grace sending His blesses over you all ....Ameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen
For The Sake of The Only Lord Who deserves to be worshipped alone with no partners ,The One Who Has our souls in His Hand , I love you all my precious brothers and sisters ...

first of all, may Allah make us among the ones who enter Jannah.. I want to meet all the prophets, companions..especially Khalid bin Waleed (RadhiAllahu anh)..
I want to meet Dhul Qurnayn, Khidr, and other important people as well inshaAllah..After getting tired, I want all the hoors to line up. One at a time.
Then how can you avoid the punishment, if you disbelieve, on a Day that will make the children grey-headed?

unfortunately some men believe that hoor al'ayn exist in the dunya.
it is one of the biggest tricks of the shayytan.
i would also like to remind the brothers that your wife in jannah will be more beautiful then all the hoors.
so treat her good and kind in this dunya even if she is not what you had expected she will be more beautiful for you in the next life and you will get your reward in full for being patient.
we must strive our very hardest for jannah inshallah this dunya is for working hard not for enjoying and getting what you desire.
this dunya is a test so don't fail it or you will be a loser
anyway back to the topic, i am most looking forward to meeting Allah if i get into jannah of course.

What I look forward to in Jannah? SubhanAllah, just the thought of it makes me excited. I could go on forever.
Okay, well here's what I can think of right now:
-Meeting Allah, (especially after reading the discription of ibn al Qayyim rahimullah)
-Meeting the Prophet Salal Allahu Alaihi wa Salam
-Meeting ALL the prophets Alaihim salam.
-Meeting Maryam alaiha salam, Aasiyah, A'isha, Fatimah hadi'Allahu anha.
-Just seeing everyone happy.
-To drink from the rivers. ^_^
-Our House! Lol.
-What Allah swt has in store for us iA.
But, of course, Jannah isn't easy to get. You got to work for it, seek it.
May Allah azawajjal take us all directly into Jannah. To the highest level of Jannah: Jannah al-Firdaws!
So glorify the praises of your Lord and be of those who prostrate themselves (to Him).

The most exciting thing about paradise is obviously meeting GOD, to know the ONE who created us, us, to know why HE chose us among all the creation to be in the jannah, why he chose us in this world to be of the believers, why us????
And i imagine myself sitting infront of my lord and asking questions about the creation of earth, the purpose of it , the design, the system, the science involved the maths involved ( obviously only if maths and science had any significance at that time!!!), and everything that puzzles us today....
