i heard this too!!! The shaytaan apaprently said that he duznt wanna burn in helL! So he asked ISA AS to seek mercy for him to the most merciful. You i don't understand why theres a whole thread of shaydan (i am not saying its not benefical...some of it are Masha Allah ) it's good to be aware of his work and that but why not concentrate on how you should defeat him! And that would be following Quran and Sunnah

Jabir reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Iblis places his throne upon water; he then sends detachments (for creating dissension) ; the nearer to him in tank are those who are most notorious in creating dissension. One of them comes and says: I did so and so. And he says: You have done nothing. Then one amongst them comes and says: I did not spare so and so until I sowed the seed of discord between a husband and a wife. The Satan goes near him and says: 'You have done well. A'mash said: He then embraces him.

Y'now i sometimes wonder if Shaytaans offspring are automatically devils or if they get bullied if they wanna follow the truth. Jinns can't hurt humans but can they harm one another? They are the same species/being after all.
