God's wrath is indeed upon us, in that we have forgotten to enjoin the good (i.e. look after widows, orphans and respect all people) and forbid the evil.
But I think the question you should be thinking about is that murder and killing people in any way - is not a good thing. Forget suicide bombs and the like - murder is not only reserved for muslims. America has the highest murder rate in the world - you gotta ask yourself why. Sophisticated US and Israeli bombs and weapons of war that are falling on innocents in Lebanon, Iraq (the death toll for Iraq is I believer about over 1 million) and other places are also murder. Killing is killing - it aint reserved for Muslims.
Which goes to prove - war doesnt make winners of anyone. Everyone loses. One persons blood is not cheaper than anothers.
We must show repsect and tolerance - I'm sure you know what I mean. Jesus (peace be upon him) taught you and us the same thing.
The celebration of the high number of muslim deaths by those who are against muslims is hardly in line with Jesus (peace be upon him)'s message about 'turning the other cheek'.

i.e. "why do you want to kill God's chosen people" makes the assumption that we want to kill God's chosen people...we don't.
Infact the statement 'God's chosen people' is just age-old bigotry. We're all human, we're all equal. This is a simple teaching of Islam, lets establish that first.
Moving on - do we want to kill them (the Jews)? No, Jews and Muslims have lived together peacefully without problems countless times for centuries throughout history.
If you bother doing your research, you can look into the Israeli/Palestine situation then perhaps... you can realise where your misconceptions arise from.

During his final sermon, the Prophet (Peace be upon him) called on Muslims in these terms:"There is no superiority for an Arab over a non-Arab and for a non-Arab over an Arab; nor for white over the black nor for the black over the white except in piety. Verily the noblest among you is he who is the most pious."
"The Prophet (PBUH) justice brought about understanding between people of different races. In many of his addresses, even in his final sermon, the Prophet (PBUH) stated that superiority lay not in race but in godliness as Allah states in the verse:" (2)
