Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported: Allah's Messenger ( peace be upon him) said: When Allah loves a servant, He calls Gabriel and says: Verily, I love so and so; you should also love him, and then Gabriel begins to love him. Then he makes an announcement in the Heaven saying: Allah loves so and so and you also should love him, and then the inhabitants of the Heaven (the Angels) also begin to love him and then there is conferred honor upon him in the earth; and when Allah is angry with any servant He calls Gabriel and says: I am angry with such and such and you also become angry with him, and then Gabriel also becomes angry and then makes an announcement among the inhabitants of Heaven: Verily Allah is angry with so and so, so you also become angry with him, and thus they also become angry with him. Then he becomes the object of wrath on the earth also. } [Sahih Muslim]
Love God-The Creator, the Most Merciful, The Most Forgiving , The One, The Greatest, The most gracious, The Most Loving.
Love Him more than anything else.. more than your money, family, friends-more than this life-more than this world.
Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported:
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, stated: I am near to the thought of My servant as he thinks about Me, and I am with him as he remembers Me. And if he remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My Heart, and if he remembers Me in assembly I remember him in assembly, better than his (remembrance), and if he draws near Me by the span of a palm, I draw near him by a cubit, and if he draws near Me by a cubit I draw near him by the space (covered by) two arms. And if he walks towards Me, I rush towards him. (Hadith in Sahih Muslim)
2.) Love Allah's (swt) messenger , Muhammad
for he is Habeeb-ulllah..the Love of Allah and Allah (swt) loves him.
Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) said :
"You cannot have total IMaan as long as you do not love me more than your father, children, and all people." (Bukhari and Muslim)
The Prophet also said:
"Love Allah because He nourishes and sustains you; love me because Allah loves me", (Tirmidhi)
3.)REMEMBER Allah (swt) and Glorify Him with His 99 names.
Keep Allah (SWT) in your heart-Always---In the light of the following Hadeeth, just imagine how much love Allah has for those who do dhikr. Narrated Abu Huraira Allah's Apostle said, "Allah has ninety-nine names, i.e. one-hundred minus one, and whoever knows them will go to Paradise." Sahih Bukhari [3:894]
The Prophet also said: " The People of Paradise will not regret, except one thing alone: The hour that passed them by in which they made no remembrance of Allah.”(Bayhaqi and Tabarani)
4.) Love others for the sake of Allah (swt)
"There are three things that whoever attains them will find the sweetness of faith: If Allah and His Messenger are dearer to him than anyone else; if he loves a person solely for the sake of Allah; and if he would hate to return to kufr after Allah has rescued him from it, as much as he would hate to be thrown into fire." [Agreed upon]
5.) Allah (SWT) loves those who constantly repent
"Truly, Allah loves those who turn unto him in repentance."
(Qur'an 2:222)
6.) Do the fard and obligatory acts prescribed to us and commanded to us by Allah (swt) and Do extra and sunnah acts to get closer to Allah (Swt)
"My slave continues getting closer to Me by performing voluntary deeds until I love him." [al-Bukhari]
7.) Seek knowledge
8.) Know that He is watching you..and know that He is always there...then you will restrain from doing anything displeasing to Him.
"Perfect goodness is to worship God as if you were seeing Him, and while you see Him not, yet truly He sees you." [Bukhari, Iman, 47; Muslim, Iman, 5.7.]
" O Allah Grant us increase and do not deprive us. Grant us honor and do not abase us. Grant us preference and do not prefer (others ) over us. Grant us Your pleasure and do not be displeased with us." Ameen.
"Allahumma Zeedina wala tanKKaSSnaa, wa'akrimina wala tohina, waathibrana wala too othir 'alayna, wa ArDDina warDD 'ana"

7.) Seek knowledge
YEAH!!! If you don't have knowledge, how are you gonna do the stuff that Allah wants you to do? Can't just fight and have no knowledge or wisdom....The one who is more learned is more closer to Allah, as he knows what Allah expects from him

O Allah Wash away my sins with the water of snow and hail, and cleanse my heart from sin as a white garment is cleansed from filth, and put a great distance between me and my sins, as great as the distance You have made between the East and the West.”
