    Question Murder

    Report bad ads?

    this is a question i've asked many of many teachers, but they've never been able to give me a clear answer, i dont supoose you will either, but i just wanted to see what other peoples view on this is.

    ok, so islamically murder is haraam, i've always been taught that if u murder some1 u'll go to go hell, but then again if u repent enough allah will forigve you. anyway my question is related to prophet Adam {A.S} sons, one of his sons killed the other, will his son go to hell?

    i no its a stupid question, forgive me for my ignorance, i lack knowledge, but when i was in an r.e. lesson my teacher very bluntly taught the class that if you kill someone, you'll go to hell. can anyone give me a clearer answer to this.

    Re: Murder

    Can't find Khalid Yasins video.. but he said.. There is ALWAYS HOPE.. even if u committed sins.. If you commited a sin and dont ask for forgiveness and keep on comitting the sin.. you will go to hell.. BUT if you ask for forgiveness and YOU DO NOT EVER DO IT AGAIN.. you will be PUNISHED b4 you go to heaven.. or something like that.. he gave an example of a man that killed 99 people.. Anyways the moral is "THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE"...

    Re: Murder

    You can read the full story from here:
    http://www.islamicboard.com/biograph...abil-cain.html

    [فَطَوَّعَتْ لَهُ نَفْسُهُ قَتْلَ أَخِيهِ فَقَتَلَهُ فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ الْخَـسِرِينَ ]

    (So the soul of the other encouraged him and made fair-seeming to him the murder of his brother; he murdered him and became one of the losers.) means, his conscience encouraged him to kill his brother by making it seem like a sensible thing to do, so he killed him, even after his brother admonished him. Ibn Jarir said, "When he wanted to kill his brother, he started to twist his neck. So Shaytan took an animal and placed its head on a rock, then he took another rock, and smashed its head with it until he killed it while the son of Adam was looking. So he did the same thing to his brother.'' Ibn Abi Hatim also recorded this. `Abdullah bin Wahb said that `Abdur-Rahman bin Zayd bin Aslam said that his father said, "Qabil held Habil by the head to kill him, so Habil laid down for him and Qabil started twisting Habil's head, not knowing how to kill him. Shaytan came to Qabil and said, `Do you want to kill him' He said, `Yes.' Shaytan said, `Take that stone and throw it on his head.' So Qabil took the stone and threw it at his brother's head and smashed his head. Shaytan then went to Hawwa' in a hurry and said to her, `O Hawwa'! Qabil killed Habil.' She asked him, `Woe to you! What does `kill' mean' He said, `He will no longer eat, drink or move.' She said, `And that is death' He said, `Yes it is.' So she started to weep until Adam came to her while she was weeping and said, `What is the matter with you' She did not answer him. He asked her two more times, but she did not answer him. So he said, `You and your daughters will inherit the practice of weeping, while I and my sons are free of it.''' Ibn Abi Hatim recorded it. Allah's statement,

    [فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ الْخَـسِرِينَ]

    (And became one of the losers.) in this life and the Hereafter, and which loss is worse than this Imam Ahmad recorded that `Abdullah bin Mas`ud said that the Messenger of Allah said,

    «لَا تُقْتَلُ نَفْسٌ ظُلْمًا إِلَّا كَانَ عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ الْأَوَّلِ كِفْلٌ مِنْ دَمِهَا،لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ سَنَّ الْقَتْل»

    (Any soul that is unjustly killed, then the first son of Adam will carry a burden of its shedding, for he was the first to practice the crime of murder.) The Group, with the exception of Abu Dawud, also recorded this Hadith. Ibn Jarir recorded that `Abdullah bin `Amr used to say, "The son of Adam, who killed his brother, will be the most miserable among men. There is no blood shed on earth since he killed his brother, until the Day of Resurrection, but he will carry a burden from it, for he was the first person to establish murder.''

    So Allaah knows best, i don't know if there is any mention of him being a person of the fire.. but from the hadith we see that any act of murder which takes place in humanity, then that sin is added to that son of Adam since he was the first person to start that sin.

    Similarly, if one was to do a sin and others saw the person do that and then imitated them in that sin - the original sinner would also get a sin since their practise encouraged others to do it aswell.

    The Prophets have a huge amount of good deeds because they may start off a good deed and call others to it, so the prophet gets a copy of the good deed;

    The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “Whoever revives an aspect of my Sunnah that is forgotten after my death, he will have a reward equivalent to that of the people who follow him, without it detracting in the least from their reward.” (Reported by al-Tirmidhi, 7/443; this is a hasan hadeeth because of corroborating asaaneed).

    And Allaah knows best.

    Assalaamo Alaikum;
    Just suprised why you could not get the answer.The Holy Quran is very clear about it

    Murder is a horrible crime :

    مَن قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا(5:32)

    that he who slays a soul unless it be (in punishment) for murder or for spreading mischief on earth shall be as if he had slain all mankind; and he who saves a life shall be as if he had given life to all mankind. *

    What is its punishement in the Akhira :

    وَمَن يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَآؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا﴿4:93﴾

    (4:93) And he who slays a believer wilfully his reward is Hell, where he will abide. Allah's wrath is against him and He has cast His curse upon him, and has prepared for him a great chastisement.

    Can Anybody be spared of his Sin :[

    لِيَجْزِي اللّهُ كُلَّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ إِنَّ اللّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ﴿14:51﴾

    (14:51) This will happen so that Allah may recompense everyone for what one earned: Allah is prompt at reckoning

    فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جَمَعْنَاهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ لاَّ رَيْبَ فِيهِ وَوُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ﴿3:25﴾

    (3:25) How, then, will they fare when We shall gather them all together to witness the Day about (the coming of) which there is no doubt, and when every human being shall be repaid in full for what he has done, and none shall be wronged?

    Is it possible that anyone else can take this burden??

    أَلَّا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى﴿53:38﴾

    (53:38) "That no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another;

    Can any Relative be Helpful whether Father or Son??

    يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ وَاخْشَوْا يَوْمًا لَّا يَجْزِي وَالِدٌ عَن وَلَدِهِ وَلَا مَوْلُودٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَن وَالِدِهِ شَيْئًا إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ﴿31:33﴾

    (31:33) O people ! Avoid the wrath of your Lord and fear the Day when no father shall avail anything for his son, nor shall any son avail anything for his fathers *59 Allah' promise is surely true. *60 So let not this world' life deceive you, *61 nor let the deceiver deceive you concerning Allah.

    Best of luck

    you learn by asking questions - we're all learning here. and when you ask a question, others also learn from the answers, so it's cool.

    Allah knows best. If he repented than allah s.w.t must of forgiven him. His father was a prophet so he must of prayed for him too.
