I am having a really hard time trying to figure out how to tell my Christian Pastors that I have embraced Islam. Is there anyone who has been in this situation that has advice?
Re: Telling my Chrisitan Pastors that I have converted
I had a lot of atheist friends before I became a muslim, so when I finally told my friends, they were shocked. Be prepared for those pastors to misunderstand your motivation. Islam can cause a lot of division, but we are rightfully divided. Allah's love is far sweeter than love from friends. He's worth following even if the whole world were to conspire against you. Thank Allah for guiding you to the truth. Once you taste the sweetness of God's love, you realize that you don't need anything else.
Re: Telling my Chrisitan Pastors that I have converted
Welcome sister. It's as the bro said, you don't have to tell him. You are not obligated to tell him or anyone else unless you choose to do so. Since you are not going to that church anymore, it really doesn't matter or need be told to him. But if you had a good positive relationship with him and want to tell him then you can do that as well. Just be ready for him to try to convince you out of it. Otherwise, how you go about it is really up to you. A good way might be to thank him for his service and let him know you have always been praying to God for the truth and the right path and you feel that He has guided you to what you believe is the right path and the next step in your life in getting closer to God. Wish him well and part on good terms.
maybe some convert sister here can offer more insightful advice

You are under no obligation to tell them as stated in previous replies but if you must then be firm and know you are on the right path. They may put doubts in your heart and give you questions which you may not have the knowledge for, making you seem unsure of what you are doing. Be strong and be firm. They will get over it.

You don't owe your Christian Pastors any explanation for your decision to embrace a new religion.
Since you used the plural "Pastors", I was wondering how many you had?

Assalamaleikum
Firstly you shouldn't say that you are converted....The correct word is REVERTED as per the MOHAMMAD S.A.W......
Iam from Brahmin family and iam also facing your problems......
When our religion people come to me and ask me to go to Pooja(prayer),I simply shows the videos of ZAKIR NAIK..........IN this action I had 2 uses.......
1.i work like a soldier of Allah taala( dayee) and
2.our intention of Islam should they know.........
So simply show the videos of ZAKIR NAIK about Christianity...........
