As was the Will of Allaah, Our Head Admin, brother Kadafi, has had to leave his position here on LI. He was very much involved in the establishment of the forum and we pray that Allaah will reward him abundantly for all his effort and time spent in maintaining it, Aameen.
The forum will now be owned by a UK Muslim organisation from www.muslimdot.com, who own a number of Islamic sites and will be here to help guide and redirect the forum into a much better place Insha'Allaah. They will give you more information about themselves below.
There isn't anything to worry about as the forum will still be moderated by the team you are all familiar with now, and things will continue as normal Insha'Allaah. There will probably be some changes made, but we will let you know of important changes in due course Insha'Allaah.
We ask Allaah to allow this to be a step towards the betterment of LI, and in Him we place our trust.
Anyway to give you the basic lowdown we have acquired this website and load-islam.com from bro Kadafi, signed and sealed the contract earlier this week alhumdulillah so we will be taking over in terms of owning it.
This new takeover thing may seem bit scary and daunting to you guys im sure
Just a quick intro we from www.muslimdot.com Based in UK a muslim organisation aiming to bring islam and muslims on the internet through the means of forums and interaction and other things and www.mpadc.com which is one of our other primary brands
and we also run a Islamic Radio station however we are in the process of rebranding and due to launch very soon inshallah!
So the question which im sure you guys want to know is what happens next?
We are not going to merge with any forums, nor we are going to Interfere with how this place Works or change anything major. Our strategy here is to guide and redirect into making this Place much better Inshallah!
One of our Main Plans for this board is to incorporate our RAdio station with this board and with the others which basically means we can have members from this forum presenting their own radio show and becoming presenters. The Radio station will be quite big inshallah and you can broadcast from your own home and ia it be 24/7 so this is one of our ideas we are going to bring in soon. it wil lbe dispayed on this forum like you guys had some while ago where it was streaming off something else!
There will be a few Banner ads here and there and links and we will be working on an advertising program - that side we will be working on
any major decisions you guys will be consulted..we will be looking after technical side of things aswell ia
