I see that there is already a Hadith of the Day thread here so inshAllah I intend to contribute to that. However, when doing a few searches on this board I could not find an Ayat of the Day thread, so I decided to make one. If there is one already please merge this and point me in the right direction inshAllah. Also if everyone could contribute that would be wonderful. Discussion, Ayats, anything inshAllah.

8. Al-Anfal (Spoils Of War, Booty)
Surah: 8 Aya: 16
Transliteration
16. Waman yuwallihim yawma-ithin duburahu illa mutaharrifan liqitalin aw mutahayyizan ila fi-atin faqad baa bighadabin mina Allahi wama/wahu jahannamu wabi/sa almaseeru
Translation
16. And whoever turns his back to them on such a day - unless it be a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own), - he indeed has drawn upon himself wrath from Allâh. And his abode is Hell, and worst indeed is that destination!
يُثَبِّتُ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا بِا لْقَوْلِ الثَّا بِتِ فِى الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِى الْاٰ خِرَةِ ۚ وَيُضِلُّ اللّٰهُ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ ۗ وَيَفْعَ لُ اللّٰهُ مَا يَشَآءُ
"Allah keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word, in worldly life and in the Hereafter. And Allah sends astray the wrongdoers. And Allah does what He wills."
(QS. Ibrahim 14: Verse 27)
Whoever should desire the immediate - We hasten for him from it what We will to whom We intend. Then We have made for him Hell, which he will [enter to] burn, censured and banished.
But whoever desires the Hereafter and exerts the effort due to it while he is a believer - it is those whose effort is ever appreciated [by Allah].
[Quran 17:18-19]
And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him. And He knows what is on the land and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but that He knows it. And no grain is there within the darknesses of the earth and no moist or dry [thing] but that it is [written] in a clear record.
وَاَ نْذِرِ النَّا سَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيْهِمُ الْعَذَا بُ فَيَـقُوْلُ الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا رَبَّنَاۤ اَخِّرْنَاۤ اِلٰۤى اَجَلٍ قَرِيْبٍ ۙ نُّجِبْ دَعْوَتَكَ وَنَـتَّبِعِ الرُّسُلَ ۗ اَوَلَمْ تَكُوْنُوْۤااَقْسَمْتُمْ مِّنْ قَبْلُ مَا لَـكُمْ مِّنْ زَوَا لٍ ۙ
"And, [O Muhammad], warn the people of a Day when the punishment will come to them and those who did wrong will say, Our Lord, delay us for a short term; we will answer Your call and follow the messengers. [But it will be said], Had you not sworn, before, that for you there would be no cessation?"
(QS. Ibrahim 14: Verse 44)
And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff," and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word. [Quran 17:23]
وَمَا يَأْتِيْهِمْ مِّنْ رَّسُوْلٍ اِلَّا كَا نُوْا بِهٖ يَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ
"And no messenger would come to them except that they ridiculed him."

Or do those who commit evils think We will make them like those who have believed and done righteous deeds - [make them] equal in their life and their death? Evil is that which they judge. [Quran 45:21]

Your Lord is most knowing of what is within yourselves. If you should be righteous [in intention] - then indeed He is ever, to the often returning [to Him], Forgiving. [Quran 17:25]
Had Allah known any good in them, He would have made them hear. And if He had made them hear, they would [still] have turned away, while they were refusing.
لِيَحْمِلُوْۤا اَوْزَا رَهُمْ كَا مِلَةً يَّوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ ۙ وَمِنْ اَوْزَا رِ الَّذِيْنَ يُضِلُّوْنَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۗ اَ لَا سَآءَ مَا يَزِرُوْنَ
"That they may bear their own burdens in full on the Day of Resurrection and some of the burdens of those whom they misguide without knowledge. Unquestionably, evil is that which they bear."
(QS. An-Nahl 16: Verse 25)
Then is one to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive so he considers it good [like one rightly guided]? For indeed, Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So do not let yourself perish over them in regret. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do. [Quran 35:8]
And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah. Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they will not be treated unjustly. [Quran 2:281]
تَا للّٰهِ لَـقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَاۤ اِلٰۤى اُمَمٍ مِّنْ قَبْلِكَ فَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطٰنُ اَعْمَا لَهُمْ فَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَا بٌ اَلِيْمٌ
"By Allah, We did certainly send [messengers] to nations before you, but Satan made their deeds attractive to them. And he is the disbelievers' ally today [as well], and they will have a painful punishment."
(QS. An-Nahl 16: Verse 63)
