On the RoadtoJannah message board I typically post a Hadith of the Day and the Ayat of the Day. I see that there is already a Hadith of the Day thread here so inshAllah I intend to contribute to that. However, when doing a few searches on this board I could not find an Ayat of the Day thread, so I decided to make one. If there is one already please merge this and point me in the right direction inshAllah. Also if everyone could contribute that would be wonderful. Discussion, Ayats, anything inshAllah.

8. Al-Anfal (Spoils Of War, Booty)
Surah: 8 Aya: 16
Transliteration
16. Waman yuwallihim yawma-ithin duburahu illa mutaharrifan liqitalin aw mutahayyizan ila fi-atin faqad baa bighadabin mina Allahi wama/wahu jahannamu wabi/sa almaseeru
Translation
16. And whoever turns his back to them on such a day - unless it be a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own), - he indeed has drawn upon himself wrath from Allâh. And his abode is Hell, and worst indeed is that destination!
وَاِ نْ تُطِعْ اَكْثَرَ مَنْ فِى الْاَ رْضِ يُضِلُّوْكَ عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ۗ اِنْ يَّتَّبِعُوْنَ اِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَاِ نْ هُمْ اِلَّا يَخْرُصُوْنَ
"And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah. They follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying."
(QS. Al-An'aam 6: Verse 116)
وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيْعًا ۚ يٰمَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ قَدِ اسْتَكْثَرْتُمْ مِّنَ الْاِ نْسِ ۚ وَقَا لَ اَوْلِيٰۤـئُهُمْ مِّنَ الْاِ نْسِ رَبَّنَا اسْتَمْتَعَ بَعْضُنَا بِبَعْضٍ وَّبَلَغْنَاۤ اَجَلَـنَا الَّذِيْۤ اَجَّلْتَ لَـنَا ۗ قَا لَ النَّا رُ مَثْوٰٮكُمْ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَاۤ اِلَّا مَا شَآءَ اللّٰهُ ۗ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيْمٌ عَلِيْمٌ
"And [mention, O Muhammad], the Day when He will gather them together [and say], "O company of jinn, you have [misled] many of mankind." And their allies among mankind will say, "Our Lord, some of us made use of others, and we have [now] reached our term, which you appointed for us." He will say, "The Fire is your residence, wherein you will abide eternally, except for what Allah wills. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing.""
(QS. Al-An'aam 6: Verse 128)
قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِيْنَ قَتَلُوْۤا اَوْلَا دَهُمْ سَفَهًا بِۢغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَّحَرَّمُوْا مَا رَزَقَهُمُ اللّٰهُ افْتِرَآءً عَلَى اللّٰهِ ۗ قَدْ ضَلُّوْا وَمَا كَا نُوْا مُهْتَدِيْنَ
"Those will have lost who killed their children in foolishness without knowledge and prohibited what Allah had provided for them, inventing untruth about Allah. They have gone astray and were not [rightly] guided."
(QS. Al-An'aam 6: Verse 140)
قُلْ تَعَا لَوْا اَتْلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ اَ لَّا تُشْرِكُوْا بِهٖ شَيْئًـــا وَّبِا لْوَا لِدَيْنِ اِحْسَا نًا ۚ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوْۤا اَوْلَا دَكُمْ مِّنْ اِمْلَا قٍ ۗ نَحْنُ نَرْزُقُكُمْ وَاِ يَّاهُمْ ۚ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا الْفَوَا حِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ ۚ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِيْ حَرَّمَ اللّٰهُ اِلَّا بِا لْحَـقِّ ۗ ذٰ لِكُمْ وَصّٰٮكُمْ بِهٖ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُوْنَ
"Say, "Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited to you. [He commands] that you not associate anything with Him, and to parents, good treatment, and do not kill your children out of poverty; We will provide for you and them. And do not approach immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed. And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed] except by [legal] right. This has He instructed you that you may use reason.""
(QS. Al-An'aam 6: Verse 151)
Narrated Zayd ibn Thabit (RA): I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say:
May Allah brighten a man who hears a tradition from us, gets it by heart and passes it on to others. Many a bearer of knowledge conveys it to one who is more versed than he is; and many a bearer of knowledge is not versed in it.
وَكَمْ مِّنْ قَرْيَةٍ اَهْلَـكْنٰهَا فَجَآءَهَا بَأْسُنَا بَيَا تًا اَوْ هُمْ قَآئِلُوْنَ
"And how many cities have We destroyed, and Our punishment came to them at night or while they were sleeping at noon."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 4)
قُلْ اِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ رَبِّيَ الْـفَوَا حِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَ الْاِ ثْمَ وَا لْبَـغْيَ بِغَيْرِ الْحَـقِّ وَاَ نْ تُشْرِكُوْا بِا للّٰهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهٖ سُلْطٰنًا وَّاَنْ تَقُوْلُوْا عَلَى اللّٰهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ
"Say, "My Lord has only forbidden immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed - and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with Allah that for which He has not sent down authority, and that you say about Allah that which you do not know.""
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 33)
وَلِكُلِّ اُمَّةٍ اَجَلٌ ۚ فَاِ ذَا جَآءَ اَجَلُهُمْ لَا يَسْتَئ۟خِرُوْنَ سَا عَةً وَّلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُوْنَ
"And for every nation is a [specified] term. So when their time has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it]."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 34)
اِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَ رْضَ فِيْ سِتَّةِ اَيَّا مٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوٰى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ ۗ يُغْشِى الَّيْلَ النَّهَا رَ يَطْلُبُهٗ حَثِيْثًا ۙ وَّا لشَّمْسَ وَا لْقَمَرَ وَا لنُّجُوْمَ مُسَخَّرٰتٍ بِۢاَمْرِهٖ ۗ اَ لَا لَـهُ الْخَـلْقُ وَا لْاَ مْرُ ۗ تَبٰرَكَ اللّٰهُ رَبُّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ
"Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly; and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, subjected by His command. Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah, Lord of the worlds."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 54)
وَاِ لٰى عَا دٍ اَخَاهُمْ هُوْدًا ۗ قَا لَ يٰقَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مَا لَـكُمْ مِّنْ اِلٰهٍ غَيْرُهٗ ۗ اَفَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَ
"And to the 'Aad [We sent] their brother Hud. He said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Then will you not fear Him?""
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 65)
وَلُوْطًا اِذْ قَا لَ لِقَوْمِهٖۤ اَتَأْتُوْنَ الْفَا حِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُمْ بِهَا مِنْ اَحَدٍ مِّنَ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ
"And [We had sent] Lot when he said to his people, "Do you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds?"
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 80)
اَوَلَمْ يَهْدِ لِلَّذِيْنَ يَرِثُوْنَ الْاَ رْضَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ اَهْلِهَاۤ اَنْ لَّوْ نَشَآءُ اَصَبْنٰهُمْ بِذُنُوْبِهِمْ ۚ وَنَطْب َعُ عَلٰى قُلُوْبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُوْنَ
"Has it not become clear to those who inherited the earth after its [previous] people that if We willed, We could afflict them for their sins? But We seal over their hearts so they do not hear."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 100)
وَاَ وْحَيْنَاۤ اِلٰى مُوْسٰۤى اَنْ اَلْقِ عَصَا كَ ۚ فَاِ ذَا هِيَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُوْنَ
"And We inspired to Moses, "Throw your staff," and at once it devoured what they were falsifying."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 117)
وَاَ وْرَثْنَا الْـقَوْمَ الَّذِيْنَ كَا نُوْا يُسْتَضْعَفُوْنَ مَشَا رِقَ الْاَ رْضِ وَمَغَا رِبَهَا الَّتِيْ بٰرَكْنَا فِيْهَا ۗ وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ الْحُسْنٰى عَلٰى بَنِيْۤ اِسْرَآءِيْلَ ۙ بِمَا صَبَرُوْا ۗ وَدَمَّرْنَا مَا كَا نَ يَصْنَعُ فِرْعَوْنُ وَقَوْمُهٗ وَمَا كَا نُوْا يَعْرِشُوْنَ
"And We caused the people who had been oppressed to inherit the eastern regions of the land and the western ones, which We had blessed. And the good word of your Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel because of what they had patiently endured. And We destroyed [all] that Pharaoh and his people were producing and what they had been building."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 137)
سَاَ صْرِفُ عَنْ اٰيٰتِيَ الَّذِيْنَ يَتَكَبَّرُوْنَ فِى الْاَ رْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَـقِّ ۗ وَاِ نْ يَّرَوْا كُلَّ اٰيَةٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُوْا بِهَا ۚ وَاِ نْ يَّرَوْا سَبِيْلَ الرُّشْدِ لَا يَتَّخِذُوْهُ سَبِيْلًا ۚ وَّاِنْ يَّرَوْا سَبِيْلَ الْغَيِّ يَتَّخِذُوْهُ سَبِيْلًا ۗ ذٰلِكَ بِاَ نَّهُمْ كَذَّبُوْا بِاٰ يٰتِنَا وَكَا نُوْا عَنْهَا غٰفِلِيْنَ
"I will turn away from My signs those who are arrogant upon the earth without right; and if they should see every sign, they will not believe in it. And if they see the way of consciousness, they will not adopt it as a way; but if they see the way of error, they will adopt it as a way. That is because they have denied Our signs and they were heedless of them."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 146)
وَقَطَّعْنٰهُمُ اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ اَسْبَا طًا اُمَمًا ۗ وَاَ وْحَيْنَاۤ اِلٰى مُوْسٰۤى اِذِ اسْتَسْقٰٮهُ قَوْمُهٗۤ اَنِ اضْرِبْ بِّعَصَا كَ الْحَجَرَ ۚ فَا نْۢبَجَسَتْ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْنًا ۗ قَدْ عَلِمَ كُلُّ اُنَا سٍ مَّشْرَبَهُمْ ۗ وَظَلَّل ْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الْغَمَا مَ وَاَ نْزَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَنَّ وَا لسَّلْوٰى ۗ كُلُوْا مِنْ طَيِّبٰتِ مَا رَزَقْنٰكُمْ ۗ وَ مَا ظَلَمُوْنَا وَلٰـكِنْ كَا نُوْۤا اَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُوْنَ
"And We divided them into twelve descendant tribes [as distinct] nations. And We inspired to Moses when his people implored him for water, "Strike with your staff the stone," and there gushed forth from it twelve springs. Every people knew its watering place. And We shaded them with clouds and sent down upon them manna and quails, [saying], "Eat from the good things with which We have provided you." And they wronged Us not, but they were [only] wronging themselves."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 160)
وَسْــئَلْهُمْ عَنِ الْـقَرْيَةِ الَّتِيْ كَا نَتْ حَا ضِرَةَ الْبَحْرِ ۘ اِذْ يَعْدُوْنَ فِى السَّبْتِ اِذْ تَأْتِيْهِمْ حِيْتَا نُهُمْ يَوْمَ سَبْتِهِمْ شُرَّعًا وَّيَوْمَ لَا يَسْبِتُوْنَ ۙ لَا تَأْتِيْهِمْ ۛ كَذٰلِكَ ۛ نَبْلُوْهُمْ بِمَا كَا نُوْا يَفْسُقُوْنَ
"And ask them about the town that was by the sea - when they transgressed in [the matter of] the sabbath - when their fish came to them openly on their sabbath day, and the day they had no sabbath they did not come to them. Thus did We give them trial because they were defiantly disobedient."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 163)
وَا تْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَاَ الَّذِيْۤ اٰتَيْنٰهُ اٰيٰتِنَا فَا نْسَلَخَ مِنْهَا فَاَ تْبَعَهُ الشَّيْطٰنُ فَكَا نَ مِنَ الْغٰوِيْنَ
"And recite to them, [O Muhammad], the news of him to whom we gave [knowledge of] Our signs, but he detached himself from them; so Satan pursued him, and he became of the deviators."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 175)
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ تَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ عِبَا دٌ اَمْثَا لُـكُمْ فَا دْعُوْهُمْ فَلْيَسْتَجِيْبُوْا لَـكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ
"Indeed, those you [polytheists] call upon besides Allah are servants like you. So call upon them and let them respond to you, if you should be truthful."
(QS. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 194)
اِذْ يُغَشِّيْكُمُ النُّعَا سَ اَمَنَةً مِّنْهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً لِّيُطَهِّرَكُمْ بِهٖ وَيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمْ رِجْزَ الشَّيْطٰنِ وَلِيَرْبِطَ عَلٰى قُلُوْبِكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ الْاَ قْدَا مَ
"[Remember] when He overwhelmed you with drowsiness [giving] security from Him and sent down upon you from the sky, rain by which to purify you and remove from you the evil [suggestions] of Satan and to make steadfast your hearts and plant firmly thereby your feet."
(QS. Al-Anfaal 8: Verse 11)
