On the RoadtoJannah message board I typically post a Hadith of the Day and the Ayat of the Day. I see that there is already a Hadith of the Day thread here so inshAllah I intend to contribute to that. However, when doing a few searches on this board I could not find an Ayat of the Day thread, so I decided to make one. If there is one already please merge this and point me in the right direction inshAllah. Also if everyone could contribute that would be wonderful. Discussion, Ayats, anything inshAllah.
JazakhAllah Khair.
8. Al-Anfal (Spoils Of War, Booty)
Surah: 8 Aya: 16
Transliteration
16. Waman yuwallihim yawma-ithin duburahu illa mutaharrifan liqitalin aw mutahayyizan ila fi-atin faqad baa bighadabin mina Allahi wama/wahu jahannamu wabi/sa almaseeru
Translation
16. And whoever turns his back to them on such a day - unless it be a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own), - he indeed has drawn upon himself wrath from Allâh. And his abode is Hell, and worst indeed is that destination!
Surah Fajr Chapter 89 of The Holy Quran
89:23-And brought [within view], that Day, is Hell - that Day, man will remember, but what good to him will be the remembrance?
89:24-He will say, "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life." So brothers and sisters in Islam start obeying Allah (swt) and do good deeds before it is too late, because if you dont you will most likely regret it.
And sorry if I am wrong but I remember that there was a hadith about the people of Jannah that regret that they didnt do more rememberance of Allah (swt) If any of you can find the complete hadith and sources that would be much appreciated
JazakaAllahu Khair and May Allah (swt) guide us all
Aameen
Sorry but even that this is for ayats can you still try to get me sources and the complete hadith
Surah an-Nisa Chapter 4 of The Holy Quran verese 59
4:59O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result.
There might be some people who think it is ok to just listen to what Allah (swt) has said but he himslef says that also obey his Messanger sallalahu alaihi wa sallam. So brothers and sisters read more about our noble Prophet sallalahu alaihi wa sallam

And the two seas are not alike: the one sweet, that subdues thirst by its excessive sweetness, pleasant to drink; and the other salt, that burns by its saltness; yet from each of them you eat fresh flesh and bring forth ornaments which you wear; and you see the ships cleave through it that you may seek of His bounty and that you may be grateful.
Surah Baqarah (The Cow) Chapter 2 of The Holy Quran ayat 286
2:286 Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity.
Brothers and sisters in Islam when Allah (swt) tests you he doesnt give you something impossible he gives it for you to elevate your rank. So when trials and tribulations come dont complain to Allah (swt). I believe that you have gone through a stage (of elevation) and now he wants to elevate you even more (elevate as in ranks of Paradise) . Allah (swt) knows your capabilities, I mean he was the one who created you
I hope this helped you guys add something more if you want
And remember this only my way of extracting the lesson (Im no sheikh )
O you who believe! when the call is made for prayer on Friday, then hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave off trading; that is better for you, if you know.
And when you forsake them and what they worship save Allah, betake yourselves for refuge to the cave; your Lord will extend to you largely of His mercy and provide for you a profitable course in your affair.
And when Our communications are recited to him, he turns back proudly, as if he had not heard them, as though in his ears were a heaviness, therefore announce to him a painful chastisement.
Saying: Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes;
