On the RoadtoJannah message board I typically post a Hadith of the Day and the Ayat of the Day. I see that there is already a Hadith of the Day thread here so inshAllah I intend to contribute to that. However, when doing a few searches on this board I could not find an Ayat of the Day thread, so I decided to make one. If there is one already please merge this and point me in the right direction inshAllah. Also if everyone could contribute that would be wonderful. Discussion, Ayats, anything inshAllah.

8. Al-Anfal (Spoils Of War, Booty)
Surah: 8 Aya: 16
Transliteration
16. Waman yuwallihim yawma-ithin duburahu illa mutaharrifan liqitalin aw mutahayyizan ila fi-atin faqad baa bighadabin mina Allahi wama/wahu jahannamu wabi/sa almaseeru
Translation
16. And whoever turns his back to them on such a day - unless it be a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own), - he indeed has drawn upon himself wrath from Allâh. And his abode is Hell, and worst indeed is that destination!
وَمَا كَا نَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَّلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ اِذَا قَضَى اللّٰهُ وَرَسُوْلُهٗۤ اَمْرًا اَنْ يَّكُوْنَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ اَمْرِهِمْ ۗ وَمَنْ يَّعْصِ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلٰلًا مُّبِيْنًا
"It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error."
(QS. Al-Ahzaab 33: Verse 36)
مَا كَا نَ مُحَمَّدٌ اَبَآ اَحَدٍ مِّنْ رِّجَا لِكُمْ وَلٰـكِنْ رَّسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ وَخَا تَمَ النَّبِيّٖنَ ۗ وَكَا نَ اللّٰهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيْمًا
"Muhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and last of the prophets. And ever is Allah, of all things, Knowing."
(QS. Al-Ahzaab 33: Verse 40)
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ وَمَلٰٓئِكَتَهٗ يُصَلُّوْنَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۗ يٰۤـاَيُّهَ ا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا صَلُّوْا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوْا تَسْلِيْمًا
"Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace."
(QS. Al-Ahzaab 33: Verse 56)
اَوَلَمْ يَسِيْرُوْا فِى الْاَ رْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوْا كَيْفَ كَا نَ عَا قِبَةُ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَكَا نُوْۤا اَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً ۗ وَمَا كَا نَ اللّٰهُ لِيُعْجِزَهٗ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَلَا فِى الْاَ رْضِ ۗ اِنَّهٗ كَا نَ عَلِيْمًا قَدِيْرًا
"Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? And they were greater than them in power. But Allah is not to be caused failure by anything in the heavens or on the earth. Indeed, He is ever Knowing and Competent."
(QS. Faatir 35: Verse 44)
وَلَوْ يُـؤَاخِذُ اللّٰهُ النَّا سَ بِمَا كَسَبُوْا مَا تَرَكَ عَلٰى ظَهْرِهَا مِنْ دَآ بَّةٍ وَّلٰـكِنْ يُّؤَخِّرُهُمْ اِلٰۤى اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۚ فَاِ ذَا جَآءَ اَجَلُهُمْ فَاِ نَّ اللّٰهَ كَا نَ بِعِبَا دِهٖ بَصِيْرًا
"And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for what they have earned, He would not leave upon the earth any creature. But He defers them for a specified term. And when their time comes, then indeed Allah has ever been, of His servants, Seeing."
(QS. Faatir 35: Verse 45)
وَاٰ يَةٌ لَّهُمُ الْاَ رْضُ الْمَيْتَةُ ۖ اَحْيَيْنٰ هَا وَاَ خْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُوْنَ
"And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat."
(QS. Yaseen 36: Verse 33)
اَوَلَيْسَ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَا لْاَ رْضَ بِقٰدِرٍ عَلٰۤى اَنْ يَّخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُمْ ۗ بَلٰی وَهُوَ الْخَـلّٰقُ الْعَلِيْمُ
"Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes, [it is so]; and He is the Knowing Creator."
(QS. Yaseen 36: Verse 81)
فَاِ ذَا مَسَّ الْاِ نْسَا نَ ضُرٌّ دَعَا نَا ۖ ثُمَّ اِذَا خَوَّلْنٰهُ نِعْمَةً مِّنَّا ۙ قَا لَ اِنَّمَاۤ اُوْتِيْتُهٗ عَلٰى عِلْمٍ ۗ بَلْ هِيَ فِتْنَةٌ وَّلٰـكِنَّ اَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ
"And when adversity touches man, he calls upon Us; then when We bestow on him a favor from Us, he says, "I have only been given it because of [my] knowledge." Rather, it is a trial, but most of them do not know."
(QS. Az-Zumar 39: Verse 49)
وَاَ مَّا ثَمُوْدُ فَهَدَيْنٰهُمْ فَا سْتَحَبُّوا الْعَمٰى عَلَى الْهُدٰى فَاَ خَذَتْهُمْ صٰعِقَةُ الْعَذَا بِ الْهُوْنِ بِمَا كَا نُوْا يَكْسِبُوْنَ
"And as for Thamud, We guided them, but they preferred blindness over guidance, so the thunderbolt of humiliating punishment seized them for what they used to earn."
(QS. Fussilat 41: Verse 17)
يٰۤاَ يُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْۤا اَطِيْعُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَ طِيْعُوا الرَّسُوْلَ وَلَا تُبْطِلُوْۤا اَعْمَا لَـكُمْ
"O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not invalidate your deeds."
(QS. Muhammad 47: Verse 33)
وَا لَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَا تَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُمْ بِاِ يْمَا نٍ اَلْحَـقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَمَاۤ اَلَـتْنٰهُمْ مِّنْ عَمَلِهِمْ مِّنْ شَيْءٍ ۗ كُلُّ امْرِیءٍ بِۢمَا كَسَبَ رَهِيْنٌ
"And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith - We will join with them their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds. Every person, for what he earned, is retained."
(QS. At-Tur 52: Verse 21)
هُوَ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ ۚ اَلْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوْسُ السَّلٰمُ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْمُهَيْمِنُ الْعَزِيْزُ الْجَـبَّا رُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ ۗ سُبْحٰن َ اللّٰهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُوْنَ
"He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him."
(QS. Al-Hashr 59: Verse 23)
وَاِ نْ کُنْتُمْ فِيْ رَيْبٍ مِّمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلٰى عَبْدِنَا فَأْتُوْا بِسُوْرَةٍ مِّنْ مِّثْلِهٖ ۖ وَا دْعُوْا شُهَدَآءَكُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ
"And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 23)
وَا تَّقُوْا يَوْمًا لَّا تَجْزِيْ نَفْسٌ عَنْ نَّفْسٍ شَيْئًـا وَّلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا شَفَا عَةٌ وَّلَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌ وَّلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُوْنَ
"And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul at all, nor will intercession be accepted from it, nor will compensation be taken from it, nor will they be aided."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 48)
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَا لَّذِيْنَ هَا دُوْا وَا لنَّصٰرٰى وَا لصّٰبِئِـيْنَ مَنْ اٰمَنَ بِا للّٰهِ وَا لْيَوْمِ الْاٰ خِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَا لِحًـا فَلَهُمْ اَجْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ ۚ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُوْنَ
"Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans [before Prophet Muhammad] - those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 62)
اَفَتَطْمَعُوْنَ اَنْ يُّؤْمِنُوْا لَـكُمْ وَقَدْ كَا نَ فَرِيْقٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَسْمَعُوْنَ کَلَا مَ اللّٰهِ ثُمَّ يُحَرِّفُوْنَهٗ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا عَقَلُوْهُ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُوْنَ
"Do you covet [the hope, O believers], that they would believe for you while a party of them used to hear the words of Allah and then distort the Torah after they had understood it while they were knowing?"
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 75)
اُولٰٓئِكَ الَّذِيْنَ اشْتَرَوُا الْحَيٰوةَ الدُّنْيَا بِا لْاٰ خِرَةِ ۖ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَا بُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُوْنَ
"Those are the ones who have bought the life of this world [in exchange] for the Hereafter, so the punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be aided."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 86)
وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ رَسُوْلٌ مِّنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِ مُصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ نَبَذَ فَرِيْقٌ مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ ۙ کِتٰبَ اللّٰهِ وَرَآءَ ظُهُوْرِهِمْ كَاَ نَّهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ
"And when a messenger from Allah came to them confirming that which was with them, a party of those who had been given the Scripture threw the Scripture of Allah behind their backs as if they did not know [what it contained]."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 101)
وَدَّ کَثِيْرٌ مِّنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ لَوْ يَرُدُّوْنَكُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ اِيْمَا نِكُمْ كُفَّا رًا ۚ حَسَدًا مِّنْ عِنْدِ اَنْفُسِهِمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْحَـقُّ ۚ فَا عْفُوْا وَا صْفَحُوْا حَتّٰى يَأْتِيَ اللّٰهُ بِاَ مْرِهٖ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى کُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
"Many of the People of the Scripture wish they could turn you back to disbelief after you have believed, out of envy from themselves [even] after the truth has become clear to them. So pardon and overlook until Allah delivers His command. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 109)
